Syanide
Linux Mint Xfce 201104 Mint is working on simplifying development of their releases by pushing everything other than the main edition to Debian base (but that one also has a Debian based edition), Xfce is the first one to get a release, so I downloaded it, testing and playing with it in VirtualBox. It's pretty sweet, and even the gnome-panel applets work (Y) If you're a Gnome refugee, Xfce might be a great new home, and Debian is great as usual. Syanide
^ very cool. May I suggest you look into the newest updates to Faenza icons, they've added variants for dark toolbars and completely dark themes; the first I mentioned would increase visibility of the toolbar icons with the theme you're using. xxxxxx.xxxxxx
Linux Mint Xfce 201104 <snip> Been meaning to sk you Syanide, how do you get your top notification area to look like that? Is it something like a dock you are using, looks very clean and minimal :)
Syanide
Thanks. And yeah, it's a concept the Elementary project had going on for a while but abandoned it, and they also had it programed, I think the application was called wing panel. I just use Avant Window Navigator with a custom theme. I removed the notification area from the panel and added an applet for AWN which holds it. Takes a few minutes of customizing but I like it that way.

Flawed
I just finished my new Tron Legacy theme, It works pretty well really. Although I still need to find a neon style gnome icon set to accompany it, or failing that, make one myself.
