I'm not really keen on them trying to force their own caption buttons on the right side of the Window. It's like they feel the need to add the full screen button to the Windows version only because the Mac version has to have one. Also, I sure hope that that Bookmark button is just a place holder. It doesn't fit in at all if you ask me :/ It looked way better on the previous mockups.

New Download Manager UI landed on UX branch. UX branch users can enjoy it. Can any user post screenshot of it?

Dunno if it's on UX, but there's a try-build with the patch:

it IS in the UX branch, a few other things have changed it looks like as well

I take it that the UX branch can be installed along with a stable release as well? As in; maintaining the current version I have installed and installing the UX branch as well?

Edit: Just tried it out in my Windows 7 VM. I must say, I'm really loving the current UX build. The new Download manager looks pretty convenient.

all the different branches of development can be installed alongside eachother (though I think the UX branch only comes in a zip file)

Looks like Firefox is borrowing a lot from Chrome. The new tab page, app tabs, and unified functions button. Although I have to say the new download manager makes Chrome's look like even bigger crap than it is.

Now all we need is proper memory management and better UI responsiveness and the 2 will be neck and neck.

Chrome did the same thing with Firefox on opening tabs/right-click menus behavior and many more.

Huh? latest Firefox Nightly have the best memory management on my PC and the UI responsiveness is far better than latest Opera, Chrome.

Firefox had App Tabs first. What do you mean by 'unified functions button'? I hope you're not suggesting that the Firefox button is some how a copy of the chrome cog button.

I'm fairly sure chrome had tab pinning (same thing as app tabs) before firefox. Opera had it before both of them (although a slightly different implementation, they only recently changed it so pinned tabs only show favicon)

Anyway, I hate these silly comments about "OMG [bROWSER] COPIED [bROWSER]" :p

Firefox had tab pinning in the form of an addon called FaviconizeTab back in 2006. Chrome got this feature in 2009.

Indeed, not sure why some people feel the need to go into a thread about X and complain that X copied Y.

but that wasn't made by mozilla, it was someone else's entirely, so if we're still talking official/semi-official implementation, chrome wins on that front

but honestly, i also don't understand why some people make such a big deal about browsers copying each other, who cares, all it means is someone had a good idea and it spread, if it's useful why NOT add it?

My point was Chrome wasn't the first browser to have this feature. Chrome has always had a rapid release cycle so they can push these updates, and in some cases new features, really quickly. Mozilla has created a lot of unique features too, but it just takes them so long to implement them.

It was the assumption that we were talking about default features, not extensions.

Today at Summer Game Fest, Alien: Isolation 2 was officially announced with a new trailer while also confirming a whole lot of information about the setting of this survival horror project. Check out the reveal trailer above. Leaving behind the Sevastopol space station, the sequel will take players to a remote colony world. With a Xenomorph (or more) on the loose, players will be navigating both the surface of the weather-ravaged planet as well as "the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station." Interestingly, Creative Assembly is leaving behind Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Alien's Ellen Ripley, as the protagonist too. This will have players improvising and developing new tools to aid in their survival and escape, all to avoid "cinema’s deadliest killer." Promising the same deadly tension from the original from over a decade ago, Alien: Isolation 2 is in development for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.       Like the article stated, it's written completely from scratch, unlike the umpteen Chromium clones. It got its start as the browser built-in to the also written-from-scratch SerenityOS.

      Hello, From looking at the screen shots in your motherboard's manual at https://endownload.colorful.cn/EnDownload/MotherBroard/2022/Intel 600/Manual/Intel 600 Series BIOS English/Intel 600 Series BIOS User Guide.pdf, you go to the ADVANCED option at the top of the BIOS (UEFI) menu, then select SECURITY in the list of options on the left.  From there  you can enable and set the Secure Boot mode.
