^Mine auto-updated to Nightly10, so there is no need to manually update.

Yep, same here.

Just giving a heads up to others that that is a tinderbox build (aka "hourly"). Those are even less stable than Nightly (not that Nightly has actually been unstable for me in a long time).

Edit: Since I'm here I might as well add that Mozilla has only been working on version 10 for a little over a day. You're not going to see a difference between it and the last 9.0 Nightly yet. It's no biggie either way, but it seems like people are expecting Fx10 to be noticably different from Fx9 already.

It did almost finally get the fix for the Animated GIF bug that seemed to affect a lot of people but it got backed out. :/

I did allready get 2 updates since I installed it.

However I've stuck with tinderbox builds since I started the 9 nightlies. I also love being on the bleeding edge, so far as browsers are concerned and this is, as a matter of fact more stable the the 8 branch nightly nightly.

I have to say even with the release craziness the Mozilla team has ben doing a great job lately.

Nope, 64bit builds aren't stable enough (they're primarily for developers, so only the Nightly branch is built as x64)

Edit: I don't see much reason to use the x64 builds, they're slower than the x86 builds, use more memory and are buggier.

not for me the other way around with RAM and Commit Charge consumption on the 64 bit builds of firefox. it uses less.

I'm using 10.0 Nightly, and everytime I restart the browser and it loads up my old tabs, it always loads what was saved in the cache. Meaning the old, not updated site. I then have to hit reload to get it to load the newest version of the page. If I have to do that on several tabs, it can be very annoying and time consuming. What option do I change to make it always reload the newest pages for all tabs when restarting the browser? It's ok if I have to click on them first, but I just want the newest pages loaded.

I used to try tinderbox builds from time to time, but I decided to stick with Nightly/UX to be a little safer. I also didn't want to have multiple updates in the same day.

I agree. Mozilla has been doing a great job. Even thought we might not get some of our most wanted features as soon as we want, the fixes to regression ratio has improved quite a bit and they seem really focused on optimizing Fx under the hood and increasing stability. I've been using nightly builds as my main browser since last year and I haven't had a crash since around January or February.

In general tab options do you have the "Don't load tabs untill selected" option turned on?If you do it does exactly what you say is happening it loads cached version from last time of the tabs untill you select them.Turn it off to load them when starting FF.This option is supposed to increase responsivnes when starting FF with lots of tabs.

Looks like new/refined feature that probably is aimed at speeding up a cold start and preventing a slow computer from getting bogged down from loading all the pages at the same time.

Ee-Yup!!!!!!! I love it.

3D transforms support has made it into the latest nightly, they work pretty well (although most sample pages assume nobody but WebKit would ever support it), but it's pretty damn slow on my Mac (Most transforms are though, there's a bug about it since it badly affects mobile systems)

Edit: Actually, it's slow on my PC as well  25% CPU usage (so 1 core fully maxed out) on an i5 2500K.

Some CPU usage reduction after above bug fix in today's nightly:

    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag. Lastly, the Redline Racing Bundle is touting games like Art of Rally, Descenders, Mudrunner, and Assetto Corsa Competizione with a $10 price tag.
