Well the problem I had was the fact there was only one officer on the roof looking out for Travis, you'd expect at least two? Which explains how he got out unseen as well ;) (service lift?).

yup, when it cut to that seen i was like WTF one guy, seriously.

The way Dexter was able to get Harrison and Travis off the roof was simple: TV Magic. It's the same reason why we very rarely see characters eating out of necessity, but only at dinner scenes, or why on 24 no one ever has to eat or go to the bathroom for a whole 24hrs, and Jack Bauer can move across the whole damn city and stop terrorist activities so quickly. It will never make sense lol.

Was a fan of the season right up until the deb has feelings for her non-blood related brother. Just creeped me out too much, I am sure it is all very possible but I just dont think the writers had to take this path. Also not a huge fan of deb being a witness now, it leaves Dexter very few options. Oh well, even with these problems I have with the show its still one of the last entertaining shows I have left.

In the end, if Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter can't stand each other while on set, maybe it's time for someone to leave, and it's not going to be the star of the show.

Bingo. Just a theory of mine, but this could be the way to end their "great friendship" after getting married and divorced.

And I think the whole theme of this Season was Dexter was being careless and sloppy. He messed up multiple times, very unlike him, but you can say it was all because of Harrison ultimately. I think it is a metaphor that parents do not always do the right things even though they have the best intentions.

I agree with you, but 24 is just on another completely different planet of inconceivability :D

I'm seeing a lot of people write Deb off the show because of Carpenter's relationship with Hall, but I wouldn't be so sure about that. In a recent interview with Parade, she stated, "It's sacred for an actor to keep their personal life personal. I would like to reassure all Dexter fans that the show is and always has been paramount. We?ve always done a nice job of protecting it and each other. We play important roles in each other?s lives and always will. Our friendship is true and strong and always will be as far as I?m concerned."

I thought that was more rumor and they got over their differences.

I actually read the interview, and also Howard Stern has been talking about Hall a lot lately as Hall was a guest on a show called Geektime that Howard has on his SiriusXM channels that is about all things geeky and Howard was reading lines from this interview (and granted, more or less making fun of them). But I am just going on the hunch that it is damn hard to maintain a professional relationship with someone you were married to. And I also feel that not for nothing Actors are a pretty eccentric breed at the end of the day that are real good and saying the politically correct thing about their costars. As I said it is just a theory and I could be way off, but just looking at the whole situation from the outside, not knowing anyone involved other than their public persona, I just feel that is an awkward situation for anyone, actor, plumber, teacher, garbage man. So really just going off of that.

Regardless of the personal drama (or no drama depending on who you listen to), I'm really interested to see how this all plays out next season. I'm hoping they bring Dexter back to how he used to be though, with more killings of criminals than waiting most of the season for 1 big kill. It's just not quite as satisfying. The other kills are like the appetizers because you know what's coming, but still can't wait. This time, it was just pretty random all around.

ZOMG this show creeps me out.

BUT its getting amazing! Debra will find out, and they will do the nasty.

I don't find it creepy, just a bit ludicrous so far but that can change depending on how they explain it.

Basically we're to believe that Deb (from everything thats suggested in the show) never had any physical attraction to her brother before, but since her psychologist's theory "makes so much sense", she now feels like she needs to have sex with him. She doesn't spend more than a day thinking over whether her psychologist is right. She had a dream about it the following night, so she must be right.

Of course, Deb seems like a very insecure person who, because she's always in self-doubt, is very impressionable. It would be more believable that she was too easily led on by what her therapist was saying than she actually was secretly in love with him. And her therapist would, of course, be horrible at her job for not realizing that possibility.

We'll see, I guess.

just started Season 6 E1 :)

No spoilers please

The season finale was almost 2 weeks ago, it's too late to say no spoilers lol. If you don't want spoilers, reading this thread is a bad idea.

How do we know they don't get along?

As for Dexter, I find Deb extremely attractive especially when she cusses all the time. They need to have her be slutty again like the first few seasons, ha.

    • Gemini in Google Sheets can now help you debug and fix formula errors by David Uzondu Google has started rolling out an update to Gemini in Google Sheets that allows the AI to diagnose and fix formula errors in one click, as long as your Workspace admin has Gemini for Workspace in Sheets turned on. According to Google, the new feature can handle pretty much everything from basic arithmetic to very complex calculations. This ability to debug formula errors comes about two years after Google introduced basic formula generation with Gemini in Sheets. To create a formula with Gemini in Sheets, you open a spreadsheet on your computer and click Ask Gemini in the top right corner. You can also enter an equals sign in any cell and use a shortcut like Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows and Chrome OS, or Command + Ctrl + G on macOS. Once you open the side panel, you write a natural language prompt using your sheet references. For example, you can ask Gemini to divide goals by games, or to find cell C1 in range D:G. If for some reason, the formula Gemini generated doesn't work, or maybe you wrote the formula yourself, you can troubleshoot the issue directly inside the grid. When a cell shows an error message, you hover over it and click "Fix". This action opens the side panel where Gemini analyzes the data structure and automatically applies the fixes when they are ready. You can cancel the process at any time by clicking stop in the side panel. Image via Google Google has been pushing its Gemini integration in Google Sheets for a while now, steadily moving AI features from side panels directly into user spreadsheets. Last year, the Mountain View giant shipped an =AI() Function in Sheets that allowed users to run translation and text generation directly inside cells instead of using the side panel interface. Earlier this year, the company announced that Gemini in Sheets had reached near-human expert performance, achieving a 70.48% success rate on the SpreadsheetBench dataset.
    • I get what you are saying, If i go onto the Instagram site, it says log in with Facebook, but they are not allowed to link my account with Instagram until I do that. Maybe in the U.S, they can link them, but Privacy is not a thing in the U.S. the way things are going,l won;t be any better in the U.K.

    • Exactly, this is just the beginning. I hope that by that time, our inept politicians devise something like a Universal Basic Income, because unemployment and poverty rates will skyrocket otherwise. And believe me, robots that perform physical work aren't a matter of IF, but WHEN. No career is truly safe from AI/robots, it's just a matter of time.
