500px.com is like Flickr but much more awesome in my opinion. In fact, it's older than Flickr.

- Less complicated and better interface.

- Has something similar to Flickr Explore, but more transparent and obvious. People can actually vote (like or dislike) on photos.

- No lame group awards (no groups as well).

- It's completely free, although when using the free account, you can only upload 20 photos a week. More than enough for most people.

- 30 MB per photo. (20 MB on Flickr)

- Unlimited photos. (Flickr has a limit on free account)

- You can set up a portfolio form a selection of your photos. Paid account gives you more options, but free is a good start.

- Store. Even when using a free account you can set up a store for your photos to be sold as prints.

- Great community with lots of inspiring work.

- Unlike Flickr there's no censorship or any "take me to kittens" buttons. So be aware, lots of awesome artistic nudity! :D Surely there are rules, but those are common sense really.

May you wish to upgrade to a paid account someday, use FRIENDS code to get $10 off of your first year ($40 instead of $50).

HMMM i dunno any other image hosting company besides, devpr0n, photocrapit and Flickr, I simply won't use because you don't know whether or not they'll be around. The only other image hosting company which I don't use because of the same reason is zooomr "aka flickr on steroids"

Ya know man, it's hard, I'm addicted to those lame ass awards, the most curious thing though, when ever I tag "dick" or "penis" I get a whole lot more awards than vagina :wacko: :laugh: ... :p I don't really tag my photos, maybe with some vague references like "sun, car, pool, shadow, stairs, warning", I use flickr upldr and I just click upload, can't be arsed to tag :p
