Little Big Planet 2 release date announced

The sequel to the user generated masterpiece, Little Big Planet has received an official release date via the US Playstation Blog. Little Big Planet 2 will release on November 16 and will have multiple pre-order options available.

Media Molecule, the developer of the game, has joined forces with Disney, to give multiple preorder options, which consist of exclusives costumes to be worn during the game.

At Amazon.com you can preorder and get the 'Ratchet and Clank' pack, which has, unsurprisingly, Ratchet and Clank costumes as well as 4 animal costumes, both outfits can be seen below.

The other packs available are the "Toy Story" and "Tron" packs, which both come with the same set of animals seen above. The two costumes are available in separate packs at Best Buy (Toy Story) and Game Stop (Tron). I'm sure you are able to tell which pack is which, seen below as part of the gallery.

Also announced with this, is the Collectors Edition of Little Big Planet 2, currently it is only for the U.S. The collectors edition is going to have the following content. Straight from the Playstation Blog:
