Microsoft is making a store for Xbox Game Bar widgets

Today, Microsoft announced more improvements to the Xbox Game Bar, the Windows 10 dashboard for enhancements while you're playing games. The big new feature is called the Game Bar Widget Store, and it's exactly what it sounds like. It lets you obtain Game Bar widgets from third parties, starting with Razer, XSplit, and more.

One new widget is XSplit Gamecaster. It lets you handle your broadcast, chat, check analytics. Microsoft says that it's completely customizable, letting you pin the features that you want and need, making them more accessible. You can get it from the Widget Store, or from the Microsoft Store here.

Another widget is Razer Cortex. This is meant to provide system optimizations for gaming, such as Boost and Restore. You can also earn Razer Silver rewards by using it. It's available from the Widget Store and the Microsoft Store.

Microsoft is also integrating some Intel Graphics Command Center features into the Game Bar. This widget will be available in the spring. Developers can download the new Game Bar SDK (Beta) starting today, and they'll be able to submit their widgets to the new store.
