Earlier this month, Microsoft began offering big discounts on some Surface Book models, and some of those deals will remain available until the end of the month.
The savings on its higher-end models ended on December 10 - but now, Microsoft is offering an even more generous $400 off all Surface Books with Intel Core i7 processors, except for the latest additions to its range with its new Performance Base:
- Intel Core i7 / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD / dGPU | normally $2,099 | now $1,699
- Intel Core i7 / 16GB RAM / 512GB SSD / dGPU | normally $2,699 | now $2,299
- Intel Core i7 / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD / dGPU | normally $3,199 | now $2,799
You'll have to be quick to take advantage of those $400 savings, though; the discount on the Core i7 models will end on December 15.
The earlier discounts on two of the more affordable Surface Book models will continue until December 24:
- Intel Core i5 / 8GB RAM / 128GB SSD | normally $1,499 | now $1,299 (save $200)
- Intel Core i5 / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD / dGPU | normally $1,849 | now $1,649 (save $250)
Microsoft is also offering savings on many of its Surface Pro 4 models until later this month, but until December 15, you can also get $250 off one specific model in its range. The Intel Core i5 / 4GB RAM / 128GB SSD version is usually $999, but until tomorrow, you can buy it for $749 - that's $150 less than the entry-level Pro 4 with a Core m3 processor.
