Microsoft launches Cloud Platform roadmap website

Microsoft is busy improving its presence in the cloud technologies area and to keep potential customers aware of their release cycles, the company has launched a roadmap website.

Microsoft has launched a Cloud Platform roadmap website to share release dates of its various cloud technologies with customers.

For the last few years, Microsoft has shifted gears and aggressively worked on creating a significant presence as a cloud technology provider. Now, to give updates on recent and upcoming cloud offerings, the company has launched the Cloud Platform roadmap website.

Microsoft's cloud offerings range includes products such as Azure, Intune, Power BI and Visual Studio Online. However, Cloud Platform encompasses all the related products such as Windows Server, System Center, SQL Server and Visual Studio as well. Other platforms that can be tracked on the roadmap website include Cloud Platform System, Analytics Platform System and StorSimple.

As revealed earlier, the next Windows Server release won't take place till 2016, but interested customers can track its progress and get the latest preview builds right from the roadmap website.
