Samsung now offering a $200 Visa gift card for the purchase of the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+

If the sales numbers for the first few weeks of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are any indication, the latest pair of handsets from the firm has proved to be quite popular. While there is no doubt a little lull has been experienced since the fervor from the initial release has dissipated, Samsung has done an excellent job of trying to keep the momentum going by offering a new deal or promotion for the models nearly every couple of weeks. While you previously had to trade in a handset for a $200 credit, it appears that the firm is making it even easier now, requiring those interested to just purchase the handset to qualify for the bonus.

Although there are terms that apply, there aren't any hoops to jump through this go-around, only requiring users to purchase a handset from the Samsung website in full or using Samsung's financing services. The promotion seems to have started a few days ago, and will be available until July 15. Once the purchase has been verified, you'll be sent a $200 OmniCard Visa which will most likely come in the form of a virtual card. The reward will be emailed in a few weeks time, so don't fret if it doesn't arrive immediately after the purchase.

The promotion is open to residents 18 years of age and over from the United States.
