Samsung TV Plus to launch for certain Galaxy smartphones tomorrow

Samsung has announced that its smart TV app called Samsung TV Plus will soon be available to select Galaxy smartphones. Compatible Galaxy device owners can download it from tomorrow onwards.

Samsung U.S. announced today that it will be launching the content streaming smart TV app Samsung TV Plus for smartphones on September 23. This means that from tomorrow onwards, select Galaxy smartphones will have access to the app. Those who own compatible devices will be able to download the smartphone app from the Google Play Store or the Galaxy Store.

  • Samsung Galaxy Note20
  • Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra
  • Samsung Galaxy S10

  • Samsung Galaxy S20
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

Samsung TV Plus offers users a set of 135 free TV channels to browse through at their leisure. It covers a wide range of categories including sports, news, gaming, cooking, children and more. Users can also watch movies and TV shows from Samsung’s The Movie Hub channel and the FilmRise Free Movies channel.

Qualifying Galaxy device owners can download the Samsung TV Plus app from either app store on their phones from tomorrow onwards. The content streaming platform will be available on smartphones free of charge.
