Vodafone UK will launch 5 Windows Phone 8 devices on February 6th

Vodafone UK has just confirmed on their official blog they will be launching a plethora of Windows Phone 8 devices come February 6th. The telecommunications giant had mentioned previously that they would be supporting Microsoft’s mobile operating system but the list of devices has grown considerably.

According to the official blog post, two days from now Vodafone clients will be able to purchase a Windows Phone 8 device at any price point they choose. The carrier will have almost all WP8 devices including the HTC 8X and 8S, the high-end Nokia Lumia 920, the more modest 820 as well as the newest addition to the Lumia family for those budget-conscious shoppers, the Lumia 620. In fact the only notable absence from the list is Samsung’s ATIV S.

Vodafone is going head to head against its rivals with Three already carrying the HTC phones as well as the Lumia 920 while O2 stocks the 820, the HTC phones and the Samsung ATIV. Finally there’s EE that has the 920 and the 820 for those who are willing to pay a premium for LTE. Users will have to wait a bit and see what plans Vodafone will offer and how they stack up to the competition.
