Gotta love Slashdot, at least these guys have a sense of humor...
Maxtor has once again shown the world that we need more room for **** by announcing new IDE hard drives with capacities of up to 320GB. Prices will be between $300 and $400 and be commercially available by the end of the year.
One thing I did spot was that this line of drives, "MaXLine II and MaXLine Plus II" will be offered in both the Maxtor Fast Drive UltraATA/133 interface for speeds up to 133MB per second, AND also be available in the next-generation serial ATA interface which gives up to 150 MB per second maximum data transfer rate.
