Why all the mention that the passenger is female? What does that have to do with anything?

She most certainly deserved what she got. She appeared to be pretty young, he mentioned his granddaughter so he must not be a spring chicken. It was clear that she made the first contact, there was her equal rights she received for her actions.

I saw that and thought of Noob Saibot "Toasty" when you do a uppercut in Mortal Kombat!

Damn, can't say i'd hit a woman (definitely not like that, maybe I would have thrown her off the bus) but dammmmmnnnnnnn. I know I've WANTED to hit a woman like that though, some women know they wont get hit so they take a bit over the top too.

I saw 2 girls picking on this smaller guy at the park (he's a short guy) and he was walking away from them and for like 20 mins they kept harassing him. Finally he turned around and dropped kicked one of the girls in the chest and the other ran away. Almost everyone in the park was clapping. LOL

I agree that the lady was being incredibly annoying and abusive towards the driver, however I don't believe there is any excuse for hitting a woman. Call my old fashioned, but that's just the way I feel.

Also. he looks like a pretty big guy - he surely could have just thrown her off the bus?

Equality and Equal rights... You hit someone - you should expect to get hit back... man or woman..

She rightly deserved it.

MANY MANY times i wish i would have done this to my ex-wife... looking back now, after all the years of physical abuse and hitting she did, if I went through it again, i would not hesitate to do exactly what he did.

I have the same thoughts as most people in this thread. I never condone violence, I don't care if it is between two men, two women or a man and a woman it should always be a last resort. And any hitting/abuse in a relationship is obviously wrong.

But the entire, you're a man so you can't hit a woman thing, **** that. Equal rights, equal pain ;)

She had it coming, she assaulted the driver while driving, endangering his life and all the other passenger's lives

And sometimes violence IS the best answer or the other party will never let up and keep pushing, till like in the video the person assaults the victim

As much as I dislike violence against women, we're being overly PC these days. If she started it he had the right to defend himself.

I bet she'll think twice about talking smack in the future. Some people just need an @sskicking every now and then to put them back in place.

He was right to defend himself but he didn't need to punch her like that. Sure, she was annoying but simply pushing her or throwing her out of the bus would have been enough. They're both wrong though. She shouldn't have bothered him in the first place and he shouldn't have provoked her with what he said.

In the video, they mentioned that the bus driver was fired for what he did. I'm not surprised. The force of that punch looked like it lifted her a little bit. That's the kind of punch that could knock you out cold.
