Whats size and MD5 of Win 8 Pro x64 ISO from Upgrade Assistant (not the leaks or from torrents)?
I was thinking maybe my problems came from installation with an incomplete iso.
Was thinking of doing a refresh but theres no point if the iso is not right.

My iso size is 2.63GB.
MD5: f228beb16c0aa11e830cd0985e102b4d

Thanks.

I downloaded the ISO once more and the MD5 is:

5a9e9cb1c6186f9628931746d554ec68

But the file size remains at 2.63GB.
So its possible each download has perhaps a different code embeded in it.

first thing I did before buying any product keys was to download the 64 bit MSDN version (from torrent) and put it on a flash drive using the windows 7 dvd to usb download tool.

The MD5 for this ISO just checked it with a piece of sotfware was 0e8f2199fae18fe510c23426e68f675a SHA1: 1ce53ad5f60419cf04a715cf3233f247e48beec4

size 3.33 GB (3,581,853,696 bytes)

This version has the 'regular' and 'pro' editions on it.

I wonder what the difference is between the MSDN version and the download one anyway. Seems strange there is such a size discrepancy.
