I found out that XP could be skinned, and came here looking for skins (instead of trying the WB skins site :duh:)

I joined because I needed desperate help as I had succesfully deleted the administrator account on my XP box leaving only a guest account. I stuck around because Neowin was the only site to produce a solution and then I discovered the SD&A forum. It took me a while to realize that BPN is where I would grow and even longer to discover that we had a front page where I could be most useful

I tried to find my first ever topic on neowin but I can only go back as far as March 2005...not very helpful now is it?

I found Neowin when I installed Desktop Sidebar. It was one of the site on the news panel.

This hacker guy I knew who we screwed around with had a site, awayfromkeyboard.net, and he had an image folder, in there was a random desktop screenshot of his, and on the taskbar was Neowin.net, I admired him back then, so I went, read around, joined!

I was griping to a friend about the foolishness that seems to permeate a similar type website and he suggested Neowin. I came, I registered, and I guess I will find out soon enough if the grass is greener on this site.

I remember finding Neowin because I was looking for information on this thing called Whistler. I then lurked for a long time until I finally joined, posted for a while, and now I'm back to lurking again.

Na, she was never on time. She didnt work at all, and took 1 hr 30 min lunches. We were only scheduled for 30 mins lol.
