Bit late for my first shots of the month, excluding work photos obviously - and some shots I've done a work this month (skin that looks like ruffled up tights anyone?).

So here is my latest. It's my first go at a triptych with a proper theme and more than one image (in the past triptychs have been an add on and usually using one image cut into three parts - quick and dirty)

Subject matter isn't the most interesting but I think I did a not bad job. Wanted to do some work based triptych using equipment I use but I've not had a minute at work to put the effort in.

Comments (here or on the flickr page, whatever) if you have em?

That's pretty cool. On camera filter or photoshop for the gradient?

That's also crazy wide!

2 layers in photoshop colour balanced to blue/cyan and red/yellow, layer mask with black to white gradient. I'm hoping to use these in future composites.

Don't you think you are overdoing PP? :/ no offence meant but most regulars here are more interested in photo techniques than photoshopping techniques. (or at least that's been my impression)

Btw the picture looks a bit dark and dull. you might want to work on exposure a bit.

Amazing photos here . Love them.

Very nice but at first I thought she was wearing bunny ears. :p

Thanks, yeah I see that too but she really liked the photo. It was hello kitty themed and this was the first to be developed. I will put up a few more when I get to completing the set this weekend.

Last photo for the month?

I received my 18-200 late in the evening yesterday. Shot this with 1600 ISO on my aging XTi. Couldn't think of anything else for first test shot. :p

p.s. Anyone else is having trouble uploading to flickr today?

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
