Bethesda is finally poised to bring the promised AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 Frame Generation tech to its sci-fi RPG Starfield. The update will reach Steam beta servers first.
Bethesda is planning to ship a bunch of new features to Starfield in 2024. This will include AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 support, "all new ways of traveling" in the RPG, and more.
Bethesda has announced its next update for Starfield will be coming to Steam first in beta form. It will carry Nvidia DLSS 3, HDR controls, optimizations, and other changes. AMD FSR 3 is coming later.
Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum are now the first games to support AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution 31 upscaling graphics technology, and more games will get FSR 3 updates in the coming months.
AMD's FSR 3 graphics technology will use frame interpolation and upscaling which should give gaming PCs with AMD graphics cards large gains in frame rates while also reducing latency.
