Microsoft will give you free Nokia Coloud Boom headphones when you buy any Windows Phone

Microsoft is giving away a free set of headphones with the purchase of any Windows Phone in the United States. The offer extends not just to its own Lumia devices, but to any Windows Phone handset purchased via the Microsoft Store.

Under the listing for the BLU Win HD LTE, for example, you"ll see a promotional strap that reads: "Free Nokia Headphones while supplies last".

When you then add the handset to your cart, a set of yellow Nokia Coloud Boom headphones will have been added as well.

The headphones usually retail for $34.99, although they"re currently available from the Microsoft Store for $19.99, as part of a separate promotion.

The free headphones offer is even available on the cheapest Windows Phones on sale on the Microsoft Store site: Acer"s new Liquid M220, which costs just $79 off-contract and unlocked; and the Lumia 435, priced at $70 on T-Mobile.

Microsoft has recently launched a wave of Windows Phones in the United States: the new Lumia 640 on T-Mobile; the new Lumia 640 XL on AT&T; and the nine-month-old Nokia Microsoft Lumia 735 on Verizon.
