How well does that high-gain antenna set on your router work? I've considered buying one; is it worth it?

Yeah, It works quite well. I needed it to expand the range to my parents computer downstairs when I lived at their place.

However, considering that most of us will probably be moving to Wireless-N in the near future (which uses different antennas), I would venture to say that it's probably not worth it, now.

A wireless range expander is probably a better solution (for asymmetrical issues, obviously) since it will more likely be backwards compatible with your next router.
