It is an Acer 20" Monitor. They don't make it any more, but it is the same thing as the Acer Ferrari monitor, only in black. I bought it back in 2005 and it has worked great. I've never had a problem with it, and it still has a great picture.

So whats with everybody thinking they need two large lcds? Unless your a programmer I just don't see the point. I would imagine watching movies or anything else with a thick gap down the middle would be pretty annoying.

Personal preference, just because you dont want/need them doesnt mean other people shouldnt have them.

You'd be surprised how useful it is actually.

What makes you think that only programmers need space on their desktop?

And most of the people with 2+ screens don't use all of them to play movies.

I'm a computer technician, I run my own business as well, and I go to college full time. I constantly have multiple windows up and having 2 screens makes it much easier.

I'm not a programmer, but I had dual screens for a while (before I got my MBP and left for college) because my uncle got an imac and I got his old screen. The first day of using the dual setup was so disorienting and weird that I unplugged it. The next day I tried it again, and I fell in love with it. Just think in terms of stretching your screen to twice the length and how much more on screen real estate you get.
