This release is based on the all-new AutoPatcher 5.1. Although it was made with Windows XP SP2 English in mind, it will load on any (English) Windows version, showing only the items which match the running environment. There are also special releases for Italian (thanks dkdk_it), Greek (thanks heZzel) and Dutch versions of Windows.

Thanx for all the hard work! I have one possible n00bish question. I understand that Full has features not in lite and such. I also understand that you have to have the full installed in order to install the update. If one has the full from august and sep update currently installed, does the features marked as full only get installed if i download and install this update over the install mentioned above? I want to say that it is yes as that is how I am reading it here... I would just like to get a confirm on this so I can get all the updates accordingly.

TIA and keep up the good work guys!! I hate the WGA even though I have legal copies of XP on all my systems. I still refuuse to put that spyware on my systems.

If your trying to find out if it will still show that you have installed features. Then yes it will unless stated otherwise. All the Update does is add new modules to the AutoPatcher Folder for you to update.

Rock! So it basically detects if a full was performed or if it was a lite install and then adds the coresponding modules then? If I had a full before and I add this update I get all the modules marked as full update only? Example... Will I get the Java module from the Oct update if I had the Aug full installed or will I only get the Java module if I install the Oct Full if there is a full release? Sorry for splitting hairs here but I am just trying to confirm and make sure.

What the heck? I can't save as defaults with the October update on?

Edit: Um ok ... most of the time I can't save as defaults? That is to say it works with the default selections still, but when I change to my selections the module details window pops up instead.

Yes, you will get all the updates marked "only in full" because you're updating a full version from Aug.

you'll need september update as well, the updates only contain the updates for the month specified (eg october only has october's patches in)
