Do these changes have anything to do with the current site problems? I'm just getting a blank white page.

We have the site in an 'offline' mode, so only staff can view it currently while we work out a couple of last minute bugs.

Swift has been completely re-done aswell, not sure if you guys are able to select it though.

https://www.neowin.net/index.php?theme=43

That link just gives me a white page. :/

Edit: Looks like you guys just put it out then back into staff-only mode. The Graphite theme looks awesome! :D

Okay, Shift Graphite is very sexy... :drool: It's Neosexy.

<image snipped>

the blue and red just seem way too bright compared to the rest of the theme. i think they should be desaturated a bit just so it fits in better with the rest of the layout.

Any chance one of these days you'll make a security sub-section? regardless I'm looking forward to these new sub-categories. :)

When will the forums be updated too? :)

I don't want to put doubts in peoples heads, but don't expect anything soon relating the forum getting a new "skin". Already spending quite some time on re-doing swift for the new IPB2.2 which brings a bunch of crap and bloat :p hehe.

I found a bug:

Change the skin using this link - https://www.neowin.net/index.php?theme=43

then try changing the skin to another one - it doesn't work and https://www.neowin.net/index.php?theme=43 remains in the address bar.

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.7.

For some reason with Firefox 2 RC3, when I clear my cache and select Graphite, it still goes to the standard blue one? I keep selecting the option and it's not changing! :(

same here.....

are the new themes only for those new pages or is it for all pages on the main page?

    • What are you on about? Not all 'AI' is the same, and AI in security it's a serious tool (Unfortunately it's good for both defence and threat actors, so it's currently an arms race). Recently discovered a 27 year old bug in OpenBSDs TCP stack, and will continue to find CVEs at a rate that human researchers/developers will never be able to match. I'm not a fan of the 'creative' AIs which stop people actually being bothered to think for themselves, but when it comes for looking for pattens (e.g Cancer screening photos), or finding weaknesses in software it has serious benefits.
