gandolas
General Information This release is based on the all-new AutoPatcher 5.6. It was made for Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit and is independent of the language of Windows Vista. That means that if you're running a 32 bit version of Vista, you'll only see the modules for Vista 32 bit (the same thing for the 64 bit version). Note: This release is All-In-One (AIO) compatible. That means that now you may combine thi version with all the English releases. Please provide feedback. What's included (July 2007) Green text is stuff thats been added since the last release. The BitTorrent network is impressive mostly for the speed and reliability with which you get files that have been recently released. As long as a .torrent file has enough people sharing then you can be assured that it will start quickly and maintain a good download speed. Always remember to leave your BitTorrent client open to help distribute the files! gandolas
There are some hotfixes that only apply to some systems, and that must be the case. Don't worry. Thank you guys for mirroring AutoPatcher. :)

SnowManUK
Hi, http://ap.snowmanuk.net Mirror has been updated. I am also trialling a world-wide Content Distribution Network (CDN) called Coblitz Codeen (see http://codeen.cs.princeton.edu/coblitz/ for info) for the distribution of AP updates. If you download from the "Primary Download Location" link from my mirror, the files will be served by your local CDN node in country or nearest to you. This reduces the BW load on my server, as I upload it once to the CDN then it spreads across the world. Please give it a try the more people that download the better the CDN distributes the file. Any problems please e-mail snowmanuk at hotmail dot com Enjoy, and Keep up the good work AP....
anonymous_user
After running AutoPatcher I still get the following two updates: Update for Windows Media Format 11 SDK for Windows Vista (KB929399) Update for .NET Framework 3.0: x86 (KB932471) Checking the hotfix list in AP, KB929399 seems to be included but apparently it didnt install. So what about KB932471?
gandolas
Try to run AutoPatcher again and select them to install. After, go to Windows Update and see if they were installed.
anonymous_user
Sorry; already used Windows Update to install them.
chuckenheimer
Just perusing the patches available from MS WU website with those available from AutoPatcher, I am met with some questions. First, it seems MS WU provides very few, but with some having higher KB numbering, indicating newer versions. Viewing AutoPatcher I see considerably more patches available with many having a lower KB numbering. I was considering allowing those at MS WU to be applied and afterward running AutoPatcher to see what has been updated and then following on along with AutoPatcher. Is that a good strategy for someone who doesn't know exactly what each of the patches perform on the opsys? Of course, I'm not discussing Add-ons and the like. Thanks! gandolas
There are many more patches for Vista that the ones present in AutoPatcher. The thing here is that we only include public hotfixes, and some hotfixes that you may see when you're using Windows Update may be non-public.
