Maybe this's a big big bug...

The Outlook 2003 Contacts detail dialog, also task dialogs, calendar dialogs... This only happens to this theme. I've changed several themes. The others works well with outlook 2003.

same here. i can confirm this big with outlook 2003

also, b0se, could you chance the colors of the radio buttons and checkboxes to blue or something. whenever i see a radio button, i think i can't select it, bc it's gray and i think its "grayed out" and not selectable

aside from that, FANTASTIC theme, it's the only one that's made me switch from watercolor ergo. and i loved my watercolor ergo

Don't think Neowin is so squeaky clean just check out the "Halo PC leaked multiplayer" threads and such.

And who are you to say that we weren't in any of the betas for Office 2k3.

Really guys, this is b0se's thread for an amazing theme, lets not get off topic here please.

If you want to make a comment on what I've said feel free to PM me it ok, but as I've forementioned this is b0se's post, lets have some respect.

Spacey, when using your skin with the Winamp Library (2.95) the highlighted text turns to a pink box.

oh really? err.. crud. i'm using winamp 2.91

i think winamp 2.95 has some problems, can't you just use 2.91? well i don't have any time right now to look into it, maybe on the weekend.

The problem also occurs on my friends machine who is using DMX Winamp skin, I'm not sure if you made that one to or not.

Wow, this thread has grown over the weekend, not had a net connection so only just read it all :) Ordering 1MB cable tomorrow so should hopefully have that soon...

Thanks for the bug reports!

Massive thanks to Spacey for the Winamp skin, and of course, to xcession for allowing him to use his DMX skin as a base.

The update will have:

Added xxxsmall compact version (with tiny shutdown script)

Sea variants

Bug fixes

WindowBlinds version

Unfortunately I don't have Office 2003 so I can't work on the bug, but like Marduk says, it's not even out yet :)

First of all, very cool. Couple of complaints: 1) I think the border around the windows is a bit thick. 2) Can you make a version with a regular sized taskbar please? I can't understand this thin taskbar fad. 3) The font used in Windows Explorer file listings (and elsewhere) is not my favorite (maybe its not the font face, but could be a little bigger?) 4) Please make a Trillian 2.0 Pro skin. :)

Anyways, I'm just nitpicking, excellent overall. Thanks for your great work.

DMX has a trillian skin? URL please. :)

Currently I am using a UniqueHardware Trillian Pro skin: http://forums.uniquehardware.ca/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=340

I am using the first one that's posted. I haven't tried the others listed in that thread, the screenshots didn't really appeal to me. It seems to use pretty similar colors, and its a pretty cool skin in general. Although there are several bugs, not including not being fully 2.0 compatible, but I am hoping to only have to use it temporarily until a real Opus Trillian skin is released. :)

By the way, what wallpaper do you guys use with this theme?

P.S. I love the check box graphics!

Actually I have just recently given Miranda another try. First of all, I couldn't figure out how to skin it. However, this is not a complaint since it uses the windows styles (this was one of the reasons why I switched to foobar2000 from winamp). Second thing, I really like metacontacts in Trillian. Third, the tooltips in Miranda are non-existant (tooltips for the contact list). Miranda's interface seems just too minimalistic, and seems to sacrifice functionality because of it. I could go on and on. There does seem to be a lot of plugins for Miranda which could probably provide some of these features, but I really don't have the time search for a plugin for an individual feature that I miss. Please point out some plugins for any of these features if you know of them. :)

    • My son is in Monaco right now, and I was checking his location in Apple's Find My app. I noticed that Prince Albert's Palace was blurred out on the satellite imagery in both Find My and Apple Maps. I checked Google Maps, and the palace wasn't blurred there. Does Apple have some kind of process where property owners can request that their homes be blurred on Apple Maps?
    • No, it was THAT ugly and I’d rather forget it completely existed.
    • There is a lot of reasons not to use Edge but faster fixes and security updates is not one of them.
    • Can't reproduce. I installed Edge, went to neowin.net > accepted the cookie consent > used menu to go to forums, everything loads and I can browse around the forums. If you can't interact with the dialog on the forums for some reason, go to the main site and accept the cookie consent there? It is true that the site will not function properly until the cookie consent is accepted or rejected,. it's a legal requirement and I also know that certain VPN/ad blockers block it, which is a user related issue and not a neowin.net problem.   This is not our cookie consent dialog. Gotta love browser hijacking... /s Edit: this may be what Californians see, I will confirm with our consent provider.
