Evolution
My parents are in the market for a new camera to take with them on their trips and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I'm considering a refurbished PowerShot S90, however it might be too complicated for them if all they want to do is literally point and shoot. I'm looking for a camera that does well in both low lighting (indoors and night) and normal lighting as well as possibly being a little durable (they last had an olympus stylus). Often their pictures will involve landscape or people in locations e.g. a friend in a market or ziplining etc.
crazzy88ss
S90? I say a definite "yes." If you want something's "literally point and shoot" I feel that knocks you out of mid-ranged, and into the SUPER basic, and that won't satisfy your need for good performance indoors. Either way you go, I have to recommend Canon for a point and shoot.
Argote
The S90 on auto mode can fulfill your parent's needs well. What is your budget? Is size a constraint?
Evolution
Well given the type of camera, I'd like it to be under $400. A Camera that can easily fit into a pocket or purse would be ideal.
