Such a brilliant case. Has helped drop temps 5 degrees idle (39-40 degrees) and 10-15 degrees under load depending on application.

Great setup, and new case, I thinking about change on this case too from my Antec 1200, but in some reviews they talking about not best from intake airflow, Are you cut front mesh around fan ?

btw. I see Vileda cloth on the top of case using same cloth too ;) they are great to remove dust.

It certainly is good at removing dust :p I use it to keep my k750 keyboard dust free and gloss fronted monitor!

I have cut the mesh grille yes, to test to see how much extra airflow comes in.

Airflow is good either way though.

do you notice much different temps with this cuteted front mesh, is worth ?

I think I will buy this case and also I will change fans for Coolermasters, but temps I think will be higher on my parts in this case a little bit than in my current Antec 1200.

First of all, that guy with the Corsair case, awesome rig and awesome office! Very impressive, and for everyone else, great setups and really good ideas for design!

Here is mine as of a couple of months ago, I've moved recently but it is very similar. I built this rig for a couple reasons, to "hopefully" play BF3 on high settings, and give my brother my old rig to also play BF3 (likely medium settings on his :D) - My specs are in my not so awesome signature, and I'm soon to add 4 more gigs of the same XMS3 sticks for more BF3 friendliness. I'm also ready to slap another 6950 on dual x16 slots for BF3 if its required but no legit required specs yet so we'll find out soon!

(The power for the gpu is out like that to support the weight of the card :-/)

My setup(s) (with my wonderful cheap desk that has a bow in it). I want an L-Desk for all my equipment, but waiting until my wife and I move to a bigger house. Custom rig with 25" HP LED Monitor and a 13" Macbook Pro (Mid-2010).

HP Envy 14 (Mid-2010)

your mouse looks like a bong :p

btw we have the same desk, but mine has the corner piece, and other section to form a l shape desk.

nice desk, i got the entire thing for $50 from some guy who was desperate to move to a new house :p

lol :D I have the whole set, but I don't really have room in this house to make it an L so the desks are scattered around (my brother also has a set, and I have one of his tables in my room lol). For $50 you got a deal :D

To the dude slightly above this post: nice upgrade :D Those antec cases are boring lol.

Also: An Envy!! OOOH! I wanted one of those and ended up with a Vaio instead. Wish I had bought the Envy lol. HP screwed up on my order bigtime and ended up giving me a big credit, but I couldn't wait any longer after that >>

As with many setups, it's a shame about the cables. I wish "they'd" invent a good way of hiding them or at least come up with decent cable management in all desks sold.

    • Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
    • This is why competition must exist. Finally, pressure is mounting on Microsoft to move in the right direction.
    • Microsoft is making Windows 11's context menus faster, simpler, and configurable by Taras Buria Five years ago, Windows 11 introduced redesigned context menus, offering users a simpler, more modern design. However, customers quickly discovered that the new menus leave a lot to be desired. Many are unhappy with performance (they are really slow), while others dislike the double-layed design, where many options are hidden behind the "Show more options" button. In addition, over the years, menus became cluttered and overloaded. While Microsoft has already fixed plenty of pain points across Windows 11, context menus remain mostly unchanged. Fortunately, Microsoft is finally listening. Marcus Ash, Design and Research Lead for Windows at Microsoft, responded to a tweet on X, confirming that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are supposed to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." What the latter means is unknown, just like whether Microsoft plans to keep the classic menu alongside the modern one, but according to Marcus, the wait should finally be over soon, as he promised to "share our approach soon." Improved context menus will most likely appear first in Windows 11 preview builds in the Experimental Channel. While we wait for Microsoft to release them, you can try fixing context menus on your PC with a simple tool called Windows 11 Context Menu Manager. It lets you disable entries you do not need, not only cleaning up context menus, but also making them significantly faster. Microsoft has already improved Windows 11's Start menu and taskbar, so hopefully it will address user criticism of the context menu as well. Stay tuned for new Windows 11 preview builds, which usually arrive every Friday.
