Looking to replace my Sennheiser CX300-B's as the rubber sheathing on the L-shaped connector has split, giving intermittent sound. Last time I owned any Sony earphones were from the Fontopia series and they worked pretty well back in the day, so thought I'd see what Sony are offering this time around and reviews on the web seems decent so far for the MDR-EX500LP.
