I didn't really, I just wanted an end to the story as I enjoyed CoD4:MW and MW2 to a lesser extent, I'm just disappointed at how trite the game is and how many clich?s they can throw in a second. There is no down time its just push push push to the next kill-box with re-spawning enemies.

For the cost of the game and the amount of brain-dead morons who buy it because its Call of Duty I would have expected a half decent single player experience.

Then since you bought this game, you are therefore including yourself as a brain dead moron.

I think the point he was making is that the brain dead morons buy it just because it is called call of duty, whereas he bought it because of the single player campaign

and obviously did not enjoy it.

I just can't give myself reason to buy this game yet as there are just so many other games i'd rather spend my time in! (Skyrim  )

I do not see all of this Hate in the BF3 game topic? Why would anyone Hate a game. There is way to much hate in this world as it is. There are things in every game that I think could have been done better including this one, but I do not Hate it . COD is the most successful game series of all time. It did not get that success by producing moronic type games.

All the hate for this game is getting old. Wonder how many people have actually played it and genuinely don't like it and how many are jumping on the bandwagon. Sure, it's pretty much just more of the same, but it's not bad by any means.

Finished the campaign in just under 5 hours (on normal, going to redo it soon on veteran), which is damn short, but it was an entertaining 5 hours. It was a good ending to the trilogy, and the story held up pretty well. It's no Half-Life or BioShock, but for what it is, it worked.

Enjoying the multiplayer too, though I do wish there was proper dedicated servers. I'm playing on PC too, FWIW.

Livestreaming the game right now. For those who have the Xbox 360 and want to play, add me - UND3RxOATH.

Come talk to me, I'm a little bored right now. :)

You're such a fkin camper!

Correct, is actually more realistic to not be running around like a moron.

Honestly I think it is people hating people that do not agree with them. The game is just a proxy.

Maybe but what I just saw in the BF3 topic was a whole lot of whining about whether there should be an SP or not.

And in this thread it is a whole lot of whining about the game being BlackOps 1.5. People hate when someone else says something that indicates that they are either wrong or made a bad decision, so much they will defend something to the death, right or wrong.

No MW3 is nothing even close to Black OPs, it is similar to COD4

I finished the game last night on Regular and I am planning on going back and doing it on Veteran and getting all of the intel and other achievement for various tasks in Single Player.??All in all I enjoyed the single player even though the story was not very original. I only experience one issue with the game and it actually made it funny, everytime I would shoot someone and blow them away with a grenade the body would freeze in mid air.??I have attached a picture below.

I love the multiplayer and Spec Ops and I am not disappointed with my purchase.377948_128307220612049_100002983149000_143271_243103667_n.jpg

Really disappointed with the MP so far. Haven't played SP yet. I'm guessing all of their great map designers left. Every map plays like a small maze. Close quarters with objects or obstacle plopped in random places. Random players hiding in corners with their heartbeat sensors.

And why does it take forever to look down your sight? I feel like I'll need to use that perk.

Played MP TDM for a few hours. My late impressions:

- Many map sizes are really small with tight corridors and in these situations it's often a test of who has the better connection and sees the other person first... high damage means little time to jump into cover or dodge bullets.

- A lot of unnecessary obstacles that my guy gets clipped to or I bump into as I strafe. That should fix itself in time as I get acclimated.

- SMG often feels weaker than Assault even in close range (SMG shoots faster so I should be able to get most of them in cqc)... perhaps some lag?

- Guns do a lot more damage... I feel CoD4 is the best as far as damage goes. Black Ops took a bit more skill... MW3 often feels like spray and pray half the time when turning a corner with how quick you can die.

It's fun but this game is difficult to play as a run and gunner, with powerful assault rifles with low kick marking down choke points. I also notice it's harder to get two consecutive kills in the same room with my SMG; I used to be able to jump into a room, pop one guy off, prone and kill another, but it is increasingly difficult to do as it takes less shots for your enemies to kill you and maybe I've been getting unlucky here also, but the other guy would often get alerted and start spraying at my position and I die. Either that or some guy shoots you from behind. You can never really feel safe in this game.

Not sure why so many people are saying no one plays this series for the SP, as I know for certain I personally do. In fact I may even not touch the MP at all. I am currently only renting the game so really just may play the campaign, check out some Spec Ops maybe, and then send it back and move on to one of the countless other SP experiences out there I want to play (probably Assassins Creed, just really like that series overall).

With that said, so far I am going through the SP campaign and have to say it is without a doubt the same as it has been the past few releases, again as I do not expect anything else, and it really is just good old fashioned fun. Sure the graphics engine is starting to look a little dated, but it is nowhere near the point of distraction or anything along those lines. And I have a place in my heart for any developer who insists on 60 frames per second. They know what they are doing IMO. Just from playing the first 45-60 minutes, it still really is just the best over the top FPS action to be had. They really do make it feel like you are in a Michael Bay movie. Which just like those types of movies, they have their place. Not necessarily my preferred cup of tea if I had to define my favorite type of enetertainment, but I do enjoy it every now and then. A little mindless entertainment never hurt anyone.

My bottom line is I know exactly what I am getting with a COD campaign. So since I keep this in mind, for just wanting to shoot some stuff and have a total over the top experience while doing so, I still think the series really has not been matched.

My one and only major critique would be the constant plow forward, and how if one does not advance they will just get endless waves of enemies, but that is what it is at this point. The series has pretty much always done this, so just have to keep it in mind as you are playing the campaign.

I have only played Kill Confirmed and Spec Ops online and I love them, as for the people saying that they cant jump and lay down to avoid fire that's the way it should be.??It's annoying as hell playing with people that jump around like damn bunnies and constantly diving to avoid getting shot, totally unrealistic IMO.??I have never seen troops jumping like bunnies in Iraq and I am pretty sure you never will.??I like the bump in damage as it no longer takes a whole damn 30 bullet clip to kill someone.

As for the maps, I think the choke points are great and it adds more excitement to the game and not all of the maps have these choke points.??I hate the whole run and gun that was more frequent in previous games, this one seems to be balanced perfectly. I agree with you Larry on the SP aspect making it feel like a Michael Bay movie lol

I have not played MP yet and I probably won't until I finish all of the SP levels.

Enjoy. I talk about the weather, mother of all bombs (M.O.A.B.), how to obtain it, and my recommendations of guns. Also, I discuss briefly about camping and non camping since I've been hearing somethings about my play-style.

I will probably do a video every day, depending on my schedule.

Great video! I had no idea there was a 25-point streak reward. It would've been nice if it ended the game but that would have angered a lot of players. What setup did you use to get the M.O.A.B.?

    • OpenAI is now rolling out Lockdown Mode to more ChatGPT users by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in February, OpenAI first announced Lockdown Mode for users who want the most comprehensive protection from potential attacks. At the time of the announcement, the company mentioned that this feature was available to a small set of highly security-conscious users, including executives or security teams at leading organizations. Today, OpenAI announced that Lockdown Mode is now rolling out to all personal ChatGPT accounts, including Free, Go, Plus, and Pro, and also self-serve ChatGPT Business accounts. Users can enable the feature from ChatGPT Settings > Security when it is available for their account. When Lockdown Mode is enabled, ChatGPT limits or disables several features that connect to the web or external services. These include live web browsing, Deep Research, Agent Mode, and more. Here is the complete list of services that will be disabled in Lockdown Mode: Live web browsing: Web browsing is limited to accessing only cached content. Search results may be limited, unavailable, or stale. Image support: ChatGPT may not display images in regular responses or retrieve images from the web. Users can still upload image files, and image generation remains available where it is otherwise available. Deep research: Deep research is disabled. Agent mode: Agent mode is disabled. Canvas networking: Users cannot approve Canvas-generated code to access the network. File downloads: ChatGPT cannot download files for data analysis. ChatGPT can still operate on your manually uploaded files. It is important to note that Lockdown Mode does not completely block prompt injections from appearing in content that ChatGPT processes. For example, a malicious instruction could still be present in an uploaded file or cached web content. However, the mode is designed to reduce the ways such an attack could send sensitive information outside the conversation. Along with Lockdown Mode, OpenAI today also announced that the Active sessions feature is now available across ChatGPT accounts and workspace types. This feature allows users to review where their account is signed in across devices and end sessions if required. A session will have the following information displayed: Device or browser information. First-party app context, such as ChatGPT, Codex, or API Platform. Approximate location. Sign-in date and time. Whether the device is a trusted device. Whether it is your current session. OpenAI highlighted that the Active sessions feature will not be available for accounts linked to an organization’s single sign-on setup, including SAML or OIDC.
    • with LSTC and ESU, moving to w11 or linux because w10 suddenly will not work when in reality it works and its a better choice, of course there are also developers that only test in 11 or force you to have TPM and Secure boot for the sake of "better security" in games. or most likely people is buying new PC that only ship with 11
    • with LTSC and ESU there are still viable as a stable platform not that they care and let people deal with w11 crashing and burning every month support mean shet if the platform is trash
    • Most boring game ever. Repetitive, empty, predictable, and full of cliches. Total waste of time and money, IMO.
    • Mafia: The Old Country expansion Man of Honor announced, brings back Salieri from original by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe During Summer Game Fest, 2K and Hanger 13 brought out a new Mafia: The Old Country trailer, revealing the game's first expansion. Named Man of Honor, this is slated to add two new chapters to the Enzo storyline that the game follows. There is an iconic character returning to the series with this expansion, with players set to run into Ennio Salieri, the future Don of the Salieri crime family. Fans of the original Mafia, or its Definitive Edition remake, may remember that name as one of the biggest characters in the storyline. This expansion is set prior to his rise to being the kingpin in the City of Lost Heaven. "Set in Sicily during the winter of 1905, Enzo Favara has proven himself a reliable soldier of the Torrisi crime family in the months since his initiation," says the studio about the new chapters. "Now, the Don entrusts him and Cesare with a delicate assignment of assisting Ennio Salieri, a man of honor recently released from prison and intent on reclaiming what is his." Working at Salieri's side, players will be heading into fresh environments as they return to the role of Enzo as a high-ranking soldato. The studio also promises brand-new weapons, fresh vehicles, and charms to collect in this expansion. Moreover, the expansion will add new content to the updated Free Ride mode. Alongside new collectibles and locations, this will add more challenges to beat alongside Salieri, which are described as runs that will "test the skills of even the most elite mafiosi." The Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor story expansion will release on August 14, 2026, across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It will cost $10 for owners of the base game to jump into.
