Great game last night with a few of the fellows here : Razorwing, Firey, and Binary? ( I hope I didn't get that wrong :p ).

We didn't even get past act 1 after about 4 hours of play, but it was a blast. Razor, funny dude, you cracked me up a good amount.

After logging last night, I decided to go into the AH. Bought a fist weapon for my other hand to dual wield, which was at 308.5 Damage with other stats. It brought my DPS up to 3900. So I tested a new build, and it looks to do really well.

Here are the skills/runes I run with : http://us.battle.net...XgYk!YdX!ZcbccY

With that set up, I'm hitting enemies for 3 seconds for about 5k each punch, 6.5k for crits. I'm attacking pretty quick, and have a good amount of dodge, healing, and invuln to last. Since spirit builds up really quick with this build, I just spam MoC every time the bonus proc runs out, keeping my damage pretty high. Cyclone helps heal everyone near me for about 1k each use, has no cooldown, and takes plenty of spirit to add additional health to myself.

Lvl 55: HP - 29956 DPS - 3900 Armor - 3003 Dex - 984 Vit - 881

1h+shield barb lvl 15 90st 45dex 48int 58vit 468armor 31.92dps

In Normal, is it fine to just run 2h? I feel like I should be doing more dmg - my monk friend is same lvl and can handle mobs easier than I, kind of frustrating.

Or is it just coming down to the player? I'll admit I'm not a big Diablo player, I played some D2 not a lot. I'm really hooked on D3 though.

Barbarians can easily finish Normal while duel wielding or using a two-hander. It's also possible to do this in Nightmare and Hell if you have the gear. As far as I know, Barbarians really only need to switch to sword and board in the latter half of Hell and Inferno.

I may or may not of fallen asleep playing with you guys... And Binary is correct. I should be on tonight but I'm doing the grind for better gear or playing my HC DM.

Ya, we played pretty late lol. Dual wizards kills my video card as well :p was just pure insanity when you and Box were both throwing everything out there lol.

Question for those of you who have played hardcore. Do hardcore players share the same gold count and stash? Or are they separate?

They share... but honestly, there is no point in hardcore with online only. Hardcore rewards for skill and playing it safe. You are unable to play it safe really when lag is a constant threat. I've already died a good amount of times on my regular toon from lag alone. I would hate to get so far into a game with a hardcore, only to somehow lag and die to a low level group because it wasn't a threat at the time to heal... I just don't see the point until they offer a offline mode, unless hardcore is supposed to be even more hardcore :p

They share...

You sure? I heard they didn't and found this when looking it up (read the last section). Hardcore does have a shared stash, but it sounds like it's separated out from the softcore shared stash.

EDIT: It may be the way the asker worded it, to make it clear - Yes, hardcore characters share the stash, but only with other hardcore characters (same with gold I would assume).

Oh awesome, this bodes well for me in later difficulty!

Is there a way to check your toon on blizzard's site at all (like WoW)?

Barbs in Inferno :p

Benny Hill music, sweet, had to play it at least twice LOL.

I was poking around the AH earlier, found all sorts of swanky <1000 rare items (some <500-600!) that were quite better than what I had. Loaded my Barb up on STR/VIT items, nearly doubled my Life. DPS went up quite nicely.

Yeah, I'm aware of the lag issue. I personally hate hardcore mode. I think that to voluntarily choose that mode you have to be off your rocker. But there are achievements to be had in hardcore mode, and I have to at least try to get them.

I was just tired that day, was like 8 or 9pm my time.

Lag+hardcore=random screaming... Most of my friends and I are moving to hardcore. Your stash and gold are shared. But anything on you when you die is lost forever. So keep some leveling gear in your stash at all times. I've lost my 15 DM(Nothing special didn't take long to get back up there).

Shakey we playing again tonight?

Na, not tonight. Going with GF and Box to see Avengers IMAX 3D again :)

Might be on after that though.. around 10pm central. If not, Friday I should be free.

Our double monk combo seems to work really well. Where you using MoH last night? If so, do you know if our mantras stack up or do we just wipe each others out with each activation? lol

I make sure i fully explore each area and kill each monster prior to continuing to the next area. (which is one of the reasons it is taking me so long)

On hardcore, I often find myself doing the same area twice, exploring it thoroughly ) or more often if I am about to face a boss and level up shortly ))

Last night we had one of those nights where the entrance to the next level was always the very last place we didn't explore. Was taking our group like 30 minutes to get through a floor of Act 1 :p

I am most likely going to start a Wizard when I get home. I am about to beat the game however, my wife wants to watch me complete it. And she works tonight so I will not get to beat the game till Friday evening. So i will pick up another character tonight. During the Beta I maxed each character out (to lvl 13 of course)

AH working for anyone right now? I'm not seeing any items but I was able to post an auction.

Hopped on at lunch for a second. Finally was able to collect my sellings, and post new auctions. It has been broke for me since Sunday.

When I tried to search, the same thing happened. Nothing would show up.

    • After enabling it in about:config, customize, density, compact; the toolbar/address bar gets smaller vertically. I enabled Nova, I notice the tab bar/title bar is a bit larger vertically now? Everything always becomes a waste of space.
    • Microsoft's Copilot Cowork now generally available with usage-based billing by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in March, Microsoft first revealed Copilot Cowork, a new agentic AI experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot through which users can assign tasks to AI to complete in the background. After testing the service with a limited set of customers in Research Preview for a few weeks, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork to customers in the Frontier program on March 30. Today, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork worldwide for Microsoft 365 Copilot customers. The company also highlighted that Cowork became the fastest-growing feature in the history of its Frontier program. Unlike regular Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork can run complex, long-running, multi-tool tasks from start to finish in the cloud by using organizational context through Work IQ. When compared to Claude Cowork, Microsoft claims that Copilot Cowork will be 30% to 40% cheaper on average with its Microsoft 365 connector. For now, Copilot Cowork runs on Anthropic models, including Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6. However, Frontier customers can now use GPT-5.5. Microsoft also announced Cowork 1, a secure fine-tuned model coming in the next few weeks, which is designed to handle everyday Copilot tasks at a lower cost. To access Copilot Cowork, a Microsoft 365 Copilot user subscription is required. Usage is billed separately through Copilot Credits, based on model use, context retrieval, tool calls, and runtime. Pay-as-you-go pricing is set at $0.01 per Copilot Credit. To offer IT teams full control over usage costs, Microsoft provides spending limits, usage alerts, user-level controls, reporting, and prepaid usage plans for organizations. Usage-based billing begins today. However, Frontier customers who used Cowork between March 30 and June 16 will not be billed until July 1, 2026. The Microsoft 365 Copilot app now includes a toggle to enter the full Cowork experience. Microsoft is also adding partner plugins, with Enosix, Harvey, LSEG, Miro, monday.com, Moody’s, Morningstar, S&P Global Energy, and TeamsMaestro available now. Adobe, Atlassian, Box, Canva, Databricks, and others are coming soon.
