Hopped on at lunch for a second. Finally was able to collect my sellings, and post new auctions. It has been broke for me since Sunday.

When I tried to search, the same thing happened. Nothing would show up.

The AH needs a ton more visual/status feedback while searching. Hard to tell if it's doing anything sometimes.

I know also can you even get pages of training on that thing you could in beta and now i cannot find them.

Wooooo! Beat Diablo. I gotta say, great game overall. I got very into the story which is rare for me. The Act 2->3 and Act 3->4 (especially this one) cinematics where AMAZING.

Just loaded into Nightmare on my 31 DH just to see what was going to be different. After dying at the first major battle in the Cathedral..I decided I will take a break :)

Also, did I miss anything in a cutscene or something, but was Adria ever addressed? Or is she going to bring back Diablo again for the expansion next year? lol

I didn't see anything with her, after she summoned diablo I think she bounced.

After watching the movie last night, got on and completed Act 1 in Hell Mode. Butcher was really easy.

Act 2 so far isn't that hard. I still eat the little bugs like skittles :/

Ran into what I think is the dumbest, most over powered mob ever...invulnerable Minions/Molten/Vampiric.... Was funny though. Box and I ran up to the yellow, and we both start attacking it and it's minions. I'm not gaining any spirit, because I'm taking on the minions... I then notice in their name it says "invulnerable" above the Yellow Rare monster. I was like... "what.. invulnerable?" , and told Box to just run away while we thought of a strat to beat something that said "invulnerable". I then notice that it is only his minions that wouldn't take any damage, and you have to just kill the main guy, and they all die. Took us a couple of tries to down him, but it took us by surprise. Never saw that type of immunity.

I played a bit last night, got to the Leoric Manor part in ActI hell mode ended up more or less restarting ACT I as I felt behind. I've seen the invulnerable on Nightmare, it took me a bit to realize that only the minions were actually untouchable. I decided to swap my Light Bell thing for MoH and currently sitting at 22K HP it takes a fair bit (minus fire, lasers, etc) to kill me now.

Sweet. Ya, I've upped my gear. Now doing around 4.4k DPS, but lowered my health from about 30k to 26k. I'm trying to see how damagy I can be, and then adjust the build if I start dieing too much. But so far, at least running with Box, my monk is doing just fine. Box actually dies a lot more and I just stand there taking the hits until he gets back :p

I got a few new pieces. My Damage is still low, but I do enough to kill the mobs. But I am sitting at ~750 vit, and ~780 dex so I am pretty balanced. I was focusing on Damage however I figure if I can balance them out, I can do enough damage to kill mobs fast enough without worry of extra agro while staying alive long enough to kill them if I do accidentally pull more.

Ya, that is a good strat. I was using that for the most of my play through, but now I'm trying to see how much of a berserker I can make my monk :p If you are up for playing tonight, I will be on.

I don't see why people xp farm on this game. It took maybe 3 solid days to reach lvl 50. Sure, it goes a lot slower the last 10, but not slow enough to resort to xp farming. I still have 3 acts to get through Hell with my level 56 Monk, and then there is Inferno. I'm playing for a challenge, and xp farming just seems to bypass that challenge up more so than what the AH provides for us. It's not my cup of tea :p

So I figured out why my banner kept giving errors when I entered it and click save to exit. Blizzards awesome game, apparently decided to "lose" a whole bunch of my achievements, including all the campaing achievements from Lord of sin and up at the very least, possibly before, but the shape I "used" was the one from Lord of Sin achievement.

funny how I'm missing half the bosses achievements from normal difficulty when I finished the game with my wizard....

I tried to log in today, but I get "Error 12: No Diablo 3 license is on this account". I logged into Battle.Net, and it says I now have to buy a new copy of Diablo 3. WTF?

Is Torchlight 2 out yet?

Try again later, open a support ticket, and/or check the email address your account is registered to? (To see if there is any info there.)

And no, Torchlight 2 isn't out yet, but I'm kind of looking forward to Lego Diablo too as a bit of a casual break from real Diablo. ;) (Okay I admit, that was kind of mean spirited. <3)

I'm havent even reached lvl 60 (I'm 55) and am already feeling burned out.

I just dont have the desire to play I had the first 4 days. It's starting to feel too repetitive.

Sort of feeling the same way, got to act 1 hell, level 51 right now and just not feeling the drive.....only reason I'm playing it is cause I want to at least hit 60.....starting to get bored on my barb now too, who's only lvl 38 because it's the same thing only easier (barb is much easier than monk....my 51 monk is doing fine with 25k life, 2.5k armor, 30 all resist and 2.3k DPS in a1 hell, my barb is in a1 NM with 6k life, 3.2k armor, 0 resist and 900 DPS.....already more armor/damage reduction and more life/dps than my monk at that level) so it's getting boring more quickly...I know barb and monk are very difficult to play through inferno, but at this point I probably won't make it to inferno any time soon. Barb is so much easier though that it feels almost pointless.

Started a demon hunter, which is definitely different and more interesting to play (not just jump in middle of mobs, ground slam, revenge if it's up, cleave otherwise until dead), but the same content over and over is starting to get to me.

TBH I'm starting to feel like abandoning my barb because he's just not fun to play at this level. Random monsters are frustrating as a barbarian. He felt so invincible at 30-40, and now? Gahhhh. Witch Doctor on the other hand is awesome. Burnt out barbs, I'd try a witch doctor!

Agreed. My WD was 48 before my account was wiped. Loved every minute of it!

I hadn't payed any attention to TL2.. but yea looking at the pictures.. it definitely looks like Diablo for Kids haha

Thanks!

And the party continues!!! )))

Much more brave than I.....while deaths through Normal and Nightmare can easily be avoided if geared (later nightmare becomes a bit more difficult), I do not think I would venture into hell (or inferno from what I've heard) without have the best gear you could get. I've died more in A1 hell than I did throughout normal and nightmare combined.

    • Waymo recalls self-driving software after cars enter closed freeway work zones by Paul Hill Waymo, the self-driving car maker owned by Alphabet – the parent company of Google –, has recalled some of its fifth-generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). It did so after some of its cars drove through closed construction zones. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles were capable of driving through a closed freeway construction zone and continuing to drive at speed. The listing on the NHTSA website says that Waymo is currently developing a solution to fix this issue, but in the meantime, freeway driving is being restricted. Waymo will update its ADS software so that vehicles can detect when they can avoid entering construction zones. According to the Safety Recall Report, on April 20, 2026, Waymo’s Field Safety Committee began meetings reviewing an event from April 11, 2026, and five events from April 19, 2026, where Waymo’s autonomous vehicles didn’t recognize and drove past ramp closure signs into the pre-planned freeway construction zones. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Separately, on May 18, 2026, seven Waymo vehicles entered freeway lanes with active construction in the San Francisco Bay Area by driving between cones that were placed to show the lane was closed. On the back of both of these events, Waymo restricted freeway driving until it could address the issue. In June, Waymo’s Safety Board reviewed the issue and additional information related to ADS performances around construction zones; then, as a result, it decided to conduct a recall. This development is not good for Waymo as it adds to a growing list of technical hiccups its cars have experienced. Ultimately, it will lead to more scrutiny from lawmakers around the world who will be more cautious about letting autonomous vehicles on their roads without tighter regulation. For readers in areas where Waymo operates, does this news make you more wary about stepping into one of these vehicles?
    • I'm still on Windows 10 22H2 because I didn't want to deal with all the issues in Windows 11, so I waited almost a week before installing the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5094127), I went ahead and did it, and it was a huge mistake—ever since then, my File Explorer has seen a performance drop of about 30% when transferring large files... Once again, Microsoft has outdone itself! This update cannot be uninstalled, either through the Control Panel (via Settings) or by accessing Advanced Startup Options. The only possible alternative would be to use system restore points, but I’d have to reinstall all app and driver updates (and there’s no guarantee it would work). Or there’s the “nuclear option” of a in-place repair without losing files or apps, but even then, all my customizations would be lost! Microsoft just can’t help but mess everything up! Way to go, Microsoft! But I still don’t want your c****y Windows 11!
    • Microsoft: Windows 11 could finally solve a major issue across AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs by Sayan Sen While Microsoft has been trying to improve it, Windows 11 is definitely not flawless, as even today some issues are taking a year to publicly acknowledge. However, one area of trouble that may finally see much better results soon is graphics driver crashes. Work on graphics driver timeouts, also called Timeout and Detection Recovery (TDR), is not new as the latest WDDM 3.2 also has specific improvements regarding it. Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) version 3.2 is supported on Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. However, with the upcoming version 26H2, TDR crash diagnosis could go to the next level as Microsoft is introducing a new DirectX 12 API feature called "DirectX Dump Files". Similar to how system memory dump files work when a system crashes or freezes or encounters any such major issue, DirectX Dump Files (DDF) will essentially record a snapshot of the GPU execution right at the moment a graphics-related crash or hang or freeze occurs, so that developers can better understand and diagnoze these TDR and timeout detection errors. The dump will be available as a .dxdmp file for analysis and it will be a comprehensive dump file generated with detailed insights about the hardware, drivers, Windows, as well as the affected application. This should be another welcome change in this department. Earlier at GDC 2026, when the technology was first debuted, Microsoft had shared more details regarding it. The company had explained how DDF is designed to gather data from every layer of the graphics stack into a single file, eliminating the need for developers to manually correlate logs from multiple tools. As mentioned above, the dump can contain a lot of useful details like GPU hardware state information such as register values, shader program counters, page fault virtual addresses, shader memory data, and command buffers. Alongside that, it also captures DirectX runtime and kernel information, including D3D objects, pipeline state objects, device error data, adapter details, and CPU call stacks. Microsoft says the feature has been built around two primary use cases: retail device removals and local device removals. The former allows developers to collect crash information from end users' systems in the field, while the latter helps QA teams and developers investigate issues on test machines. Developers will also be able to include up to 2 MB of custom application data through new D3D12 APIs, providing additional context for troubleshooting. In addition, Microsoft is introducing three dump collection modes ranging from zero-overhead capture, which has no runtime performance impact on supported hardware, to higher-detail modes that collect more vendor-specific debugging data. On compatible Tier 2 hardware, zero-overhead dumps will be enabled by default, meaning developers may begin receiving useful crash diagnostics without making any code changes. The table below explains the three tiers: Tier Description NO_OVERHEAD Enables crash capture with no runtime cost and is suitable for broad deployment MEDIUM_OVERHEAD Provides a balance, capturing additional diagnostic data with moderate impact HIGH_OVERHEAD Collects the most detailed GPU and driver state available, enabling deeper investigation at the cost of higher runtime overhead In terms of availability, the company expects broader release to be around the fall of 2026, which should be right around the time when Windows 11 version 26H2 lands. Right now, DirectX Dump Files are available as a preview and currently, only AMD has the compatible AgilitySDK Developer Preview driver version 26.10.07.02. You can find the official announcement post here on Microsoft's website.
