Omg, thank you!

Sounds similar to the other monk Mantra of Conviction - Reclamation (30% chance to heal you when you hit in melee).....I still prefer the increased damage of Mantra of Conviction though, the healing from Mantra of Healing is minuscule when you have 29k life (it heals me for 266 per second unless I constantly re-cast it for the 3 second buff), that's 109 seconds to fully heal, useless in combat and not powerful enough out of combat to really do anything, I'd much rather do 12% more damage with a 30% chance to heal every time I hit. Though maybe the new rune will make it more viable....it depends on how much it heals per hit.....out of combat that 109 seconds to fully heal is still really slow, but combat healing (if powerful enough) would be pretty nice.

Looks like there is a Monk who beat Diablo on Inferno solo.... His build is very interesting and I will try it. He used this build http://us.battle.net...XgjQ!UXY!ZcbYbc

I think I'll give that a try tonight in Inferno Act 1 and see if I can make it through the damn catacombs area with out having to restart :p

He does have some pretty bad ass weapons though, as his damage is roughly 18k DPS....

If you could get to near-cap on Normal, what would be the incentive to even play the higher difficulties? I think part of the draw to Diablo for me is that it doesn't just give you the cap on a silver platter, so to speak. For topic of discussion, what do you think Blizzard can/should do for the game?

But I definitely see your point and nobody can argue against someone's personal experience. Its a shame that the luster a lot of us had in the D2 days isn't there for D3 (again, for me it is but there are a lot of folks where it isn't). Probably the most damning thing was the 12-year development. I think its interesting that StarCraft can have an 11-year hiatus and SC2 feels like the game never skipped a beat. As someone pointed out before, maybe its just the genre itself. Regardless, I hope D3 lasts a long time.

It's not the genre, Torchlight 2 was more fun. I've logged more time into Torchlight 1 (which doesn't have any story) and the only reason I want to continue playing D3 right now is because I'm at the start of the 4th act and want to beat the game once.

Blizzard can start by making an offline mode. Lagging and dying in a boss fight is unacceptable. Then they can allow for more customization. I have no problem being forced to make a new build if I want to switch from playing an ice wizard to arcane wizard (as it is, my toon isn't "mine" since I can easily switch him up). Increase loot drops. Remove the auction house.

Thing is I'm a straight tank Monk. I only have 5.5k DPS.

Fights take a long time, but I pretty much don't die. It makes long fights with bosses with certain mechanics that I have to avoid difficult, but it keeps me on my toes.

I have 1900 Life on Hit, 70% damage reduction, 60% all resistances, and 43k health.

Doing lots of damage is fine and dandy, but if you die too often, or can't survive, or struggle with it, the DPS doesn't mean much.

I usually run with a DH friend who has 68k DPS, so I just keep all the mobs on me and let him kill.

Last night we did Siegebreaker in Act III Inferno, and farm him for the most part, doesn't take but 2 minutes a kill.

The night before I soloed Izual in Inferno. Took around 25 minutes, and I wiped a bunch, but finally got it.

For me, the gameplay in Torchlight 1 is not near as tight or interesting as it is in Diablo 3. I'm looking forward to play Torchlight 2, and was kinda bummed that it didn't come out sometime before Diablo 3.

About to clear Nightmare on my Demon Hunter. Currently lvl 50, doing about 3.9k dmg, and have about 19k health. Getting ready for Hell :D

My Battle Tag thingie is LOC (or do you need the # and numbers after also?) btw, so feel free to add me guys! Really, the more the merrier to play with I always say.

Think you need the #s also or email (which obviously you wouldn't want to do!) I think the BattleTag is a joke, not to mention they had a seperate ID for SC2 :s

I just sold this legendary spear for 600K (510K after 15% cut). Originally, I bought it for 99K so I made 411K. At first, I didn't think it would sell at all. And now, I feel like I could have sold it for 750-800K.

Nice man. I saw a similar spear on the AH earlier and it was up for like 2 million or some crazy ****.

Nice damage for it's level requirement, but the stats IMHO suck.....no vitality and strength/dex, life on kill is MUCH worse than life on hit.....about the only thing it has going for it is it's DPS and reduced damage from melee attacks.

I personally wouldn't pay more than 50-60k for it.

So thanks to Anaron I finished up Nightmare mode, what with his god-like Monk that pretty much two hit any boss monster :D

Hell mode is kicking my butt though. Just bought a 2 handed crossbow on the AH though that increased my dmg output by about 25% so I'm going along now at about 5800 dps with 19500 health or so. Died like 15 times already in Hell mode, don't think I've died that much through my two plays of Normal and Nightmare :(

Anyone know how much data is used for D3? I am going away this weekend and want to hop on but will only have my cell to teather to. Bell's data plans aren't alll that much so I want to ensure I don't exceed the 1GB I do have.

I'll run Hell with you. I die a lot too. Just need someone to play with. Most of the people on my list don't want to play because they are too busy in Inferno.

Sure thing Razor. Only thing is I have to help some friends of mine through Nightmare today/tomorrow so they can join me in Hell (I play all my games with them, so we kinda stick together) but if they aren't on I'll die in Hell with you some more!

Oh and in case you missed my other post, my BT is LOC#1799 :)

Idk...I think I'm seeing some item duping going on in the game. I came across 10 of the exact same rare at the same starting bid amount and buyout amount on the AH. All 10 had the exact same stats... I suspect something fishy is going on there :(. I tried to take a screenshot but was having issues... maybe I did it just didn't notify me (if it is like printscreen in WoW).

Wasn't the WHOLE point of making the game 100% online was to keep things like this from happening? I suppose it could just be coincidental, but I find that unlikely.

I couldn't help last night. Was only going to be on for a few minutes, so I wouldn't have been much help to run through anything :p But Friday I can help.

What you are seeing with that is blacksmith created items. They don't always have random stats and will sometimes come up the same for certain weapons and armor.

I've seen a lot of this in the past few days, 20-30 items all the same stats and names with varying prices all posted at the same time.

Oh I see. I thought all blacksmith crafted items were random. That makes sense, then.

    • KillerPDF 1.5.1 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.5.1 changelog: Performance Save Flattened PDF now uses multiple CPU cores. Page rasterization is parallelized (PNG encoding runs across cores; the PDFium render step stays serialized since the library isn't thread-safe), so large documents flatten significantly faster while the UI stays responsive (#68). Fixed PDFs that failed to open with "Unexpected EOF" now open (#72). The failure was PdfSharpCore's Flate inflater (SharpZipLib) rejecting the FlateDecode cross-reference stream on multi-revision PDFs - files that open fine in browsers, Acrobat, and Foxit. KillerPDF now detects this and re-opens the file losslessly through PDFium, preserving selectable text. Thanks to @javajon for the report and a detailed reproduction. Grid view renders every page. It was capped at the first 26 pages, so longer documents stopped loading partway through. Tiles also stream in progressively now instead of blocking until the whole document is rendered. Grid Ctrl+Scroll no longer reloads every page when the zoom is already at its limit and nothing would change. Removed a stray horizontal scrollbar (a thin green line) that could appear across the bottom of grid view. Files on UNC / network shares (including the WSL \\wsl$ filesystem) are copied locally before opening, avoiding partial-read failures on network filesystems. Changed Minimum zoom lowered from 10% to 5%, so grid view can pack more columns (helpful for wide/landscape pages) and single-page view can zoom out further.
