Great choice on Orcs Must Die (Y) FYI I didn't get the reward until I completed the second level, corners iirc.

Also if you go to the Humble Bundle site and buy that for whatever price you want there are several games in the bundle which are for some of the upcoming days rewards. And the games are good anyway AND you are supporting indie developers (Y)(Y)(Y)

Thats sweet... Where is the humble bundle site but... steam is currently giving me error saying they are experiencing high load. :p

OK, my previous question has been answered: you can still complete objectives from previous days. :)

Oh, and I've finally got a second item in my inventory from yesterday's achievement; got a piece of coal. :p

I got Counter strike source and Dungeon defenders as free gifts.

I didnt have either.

I used to play CS 1.6 constantly. Until my brother used some wallhacks in DoD and got my account banned forever. They forgave/forgot the ban after about 3 years because my account is in good standing now just like nothing ever happened. I guess they decided a permanent ban didnt do any good.

I installed CS:S and hopped into de_dust to see if I still had it. After a couple of rounds I was 32 and 6. I still got it baby headshots all over the place. Even got in some long distance headshots with a pistol a couple of times. I'm glad to see that the AWP ###### are still around and just as thick as ever.

I bought a couple games. Orcs must die, Aaaaaaaaaaaa, Arkham Asylum GOTY, and a couple other games that were 3 or 4 bucks each. Very good deals to be had.

If anyone wants to send me games or coupons my steam name is ComATosE. I know its stupid but it was what I signed up for with steam in 2003 when I was playing CS all the damn time. Ill keep an eye on the thread and if I get some more free stuff I dont need Ill send it to someone in here.

Steam is so much better than Origin.

I think I actually got a copy of Bad Company 2 in their deal?

Or is it because I already own it, and I can send my copy to someone? I am confused here?

If it is a new copy, it says it is "Tradable," so does anyone have any game they would want to trade for it? I am open to any type of game.

To me not worth it at that price, i was hoping I could use the coupon on it before I read when it was good.

I guarantee you'll love it for that price.

It's unlikely they'll put it on sale lower than that in the time period you're able to use the coupons for. So, basically, this is likely the best deal you'll get for at least half a year, I'd imagine.

Didn't really enjoy Mirror's Edge that much. Metro 2033 is pretty decent, though. Have fun :)

Really liking Metro 2033. Not that much into the horror genre, except for some titles, but 2033 is great shooter, no doubt.

Still have Mirror's Edge on queue. *SIGH* slow internet connection

The thing i love most about steam sales is it's 99% of the time stuff i either have or not interested in. I'm starting to think I'm not the gamer i used to be.

heh here its just I have way too many games.

some unfinished, some I bought DLC for and havent played, and so on...just need to buy less.

Which is why even though I'm sure I'd enjoy it, I'm not buying Saints Row 3 yet.

lol I got a DotA 2 Hardware survey gift. Already in the beta so I guess I don't need it. Even if I don't get something I need this promotion is awesome. Way better then in game items I don't care about.

I guess you're going to trade the invite with someone?

I received The Void and a -25% coupon for any Valve-published game. I'm going to press my luck later today with some of the other objectives. I hope I don't receive any lumps of coal.

I am trying to get the Orcs Must Die Achievement listed on the Holiday Gift Grab webpage but whenever I launch Orcs Must Die I get a black screen with only the cursor. I've tried the suggested fixes for this issue and the issue still persists regardless.

The new AI glasses build on the company’s existing smart glasses portfolio, which is sold under the Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta brands. The new Meta Glasses start at just $299, are compatible with prescription lenses, and will be available in 26 styles across different colors, lenses, and frames. At launch, Meta Glasses will be available in three frame styles. The Meta Adventurer features a clean rectangular design and comes in Standard and Large sizes. The Meta Fury is a bolder frame for users who want a stronger look. Meta Glasses by Kylie is a slim oval frame designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. Similar to existing Meta AI Glasses, the new Meta Glasses include a dedicated action button that can be used to quickly access Meta AI or launch a favorite feature. They also feature open-ear speakers for calls, music, and more. Meta has also included a multi-mic array with wind noise reduction for calls and messaging.       is that a personal preference? whether it is or isn't, i get where you're coming from. i try to get and use fully open sourced applications whenever i can but there are instances where i find a superior product that is closed sourced. in these cases i do my best to learn about the company, who operates it, their background, parent and sub structure etc. to some extent, depending on "the smell test". i really believe that Syncback is really and truly something great. even if you don't use it, it's always worth a recommendation to someone else, especially if that someone else is not very computer literate. for someone of your calibre you, you'll manage just fine with Syncthing, no doubt about it.

      I agree, especially if it is cloud sourced, like this one is.. but I wouldn't say no to a local AI assistant similar to the Zettlab one which would be really helpful with my large Photos library, but also to perform tasks like installing Docker apps rather than me having to do it via Docker Compose, but I don't think we're quite there yet. Synology Photos is somewhat AI, you can ask it to search for certain people (if you have tagged them and it will attempt to match similar photos to the person) and if you put a search term in for "cars" for example, it will show you all photos with a car.
