How much metal or keys is it worth? I am not familiar with how things are priced in the TF2/Steam economy so I check existing trades if there are any to see what stuff goes for. I am looking for refined metal, coal and holiday crate keys in return for the trade, no hats.

Speaking of coal, is crafting that useful at all? Can coal be crafted into just coupons or games as well?

Deals are alright, but these achievements suck! Almost all are either casual games or tower-defense (which I guess would be fine if it was one, but cmon).

It's Activision, so don't expect a discount for it. They only just sold MW2 for ?9.99 for one day a few days ago, and that's two years old.

Looks like I'm only getting one game today, and that's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky to complete the collection, as I've already got Shadow of Chernobyl, and Call of Pripyat. :) Probably a good thing too, as I'm low on money at the moment, and payday isn't until Friday for me.

Oh, forgot to say I picked up the Half-Life Complete pack and Bunch of Heroes yesterday. Bit of a shame they didn't give giftable copies for HL2, Deathmatch, and Lost Coast, but even taking those out of the mix, the pack was still cheaper than buying individually, and I'll finally be able to play the first Half-Life game. :)

What's with the TF2 guest passes? TF2 is F2P so I'm not exactly sure what the point of those are..

There is a differnece between the F2P version and the paid, maybe the passes give you the same features of the paid version.

Not really sure, but I imagine it wouldn't be too much refined per coal, since the gift could wind up being a coupon. I haven't really found a solid figure on TF2TP or Steam's forums.

I swear Valve must have some algorithm for generating gifts that will be useless to the recipients.

My 3 non-coal gifts so far:

25% off THQ coupon - Their games are already on discount, for more than that in most cases.
