Just saw The French Connection

It was awesome.

Especially Gene Hackman, his acting was truly adorable and amazing.

The whole premise was believable and realistic. The movie was fast paced and dialogue was great.

But above all the direction, production and acting, especially from Hackman were remarkable

I didn't knew it was based on a true story, al though I did wondered at the end, when they listed all of those criminals and about their sentences.

Saw this back in the day, and sadly I did not enjoy the movie, though as stated Hackman was superb.

Great movie indeed. The sequel was very enjoyable as well.

And the fact that is based on true story was one of the reasons I originally looked it up :)
