Logically you would expect me to buy a Canon 24-70 f/2.8L to go with the set, but I ended up getting the 24-105 instead. I don't mind losing 2 stops of aperture (Shooting at f/2.8 is nice and all, but I can't imagine using that for wide angle too often for the DOF), and I'd much rather have the extra zoom range, since I usually only carry one lens with me per occasion. Also for $999.00 CAD brand new -- date code UZ09 -- I can't pass up the amazing deal. Also got a multicoated UV filter to go with it, managed to snag one brand new at a local store for only $50. I really did not notice any difference between the multicoated UV filter and the regular Rodenstock E77 I have on my telephotos, but whatever. $1102 taxes in for the new lens including the filter. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
