If his powers are more because of the suit than this isn't Superman, Flash on Smallville said he might be super fast but when he himself sleeps he is just like everybody else. Superman doesn't have that problem when he sleeps he is still Superman.

Maybe they were red to begin with, but he's just pee'd himself enough to soak them all the way through and make them darker. He looks tense and scared in that image. (that's not a good thing. superman shouldn't be either of those things)

I think it's because of the material they're using, depending on the light the yellow part can reflect light different and seem darkish or like a different color because of the angle.

Agreed. The material is strongly textured with both yellow and blue mixed but at diffrrent levels. It's likely you see yellow strongly only when the view is head on, and more blue as you angle away from head on. Looking from the side or above/below angles you see mostly the blue.
