Definately. My battery life on my iPad2 went from roughly 10 hours down to about 6-7 hours after I installed iOS 5. Whenever I tap on Software Update it just says 'Cannot check for updates at this time' and if I try to update using my iTunes 10.6 on my Mac, it either says it cannot connect to the iPhone update server or it tries to connect but won't! It won't even download OTA on my iPhone! Maybe the servers are getting hammered, but its odd as i've never experienced this before.
