And I'm supposed to care about this, why? It's not my concern if a whole bunch of theaters go out of business. Maybe Hollywood should stop vastly overcharging for their movies and stop being stuck in some last century distribution model.

Maybe not "care", so to speak, but "empathise" to why/how it's like it is, & not be so ranterificly cheesed-off regarding concession prices. The theatres don't currently gouge/inflate out of greed, they do so just to stay in business (though I wouldn't be so naive as to suggest that they wouldn't if they didn't have to).

In Australia they have to pay $21 for a 3D movie. But food is only about 50% more expensive. So $4 will get a bag of chocs. I'm a smuggler myself.

Time after time I go into the cinema and there are no movies I want to watch. If they're having problems with ticket sales, they could try putting on more watchable movies.

Who gives a damn if Harry met Sally, or someone is sleepless in Seattle. If I want realistic drama I can sit in the local cafe. What we want to see is mutant alien killer robots invading Earth and being wiped out by a retard Real Man with an old gramophone player and bad flatulence!
