Facebook Chat doesn't work - Noone is online

Hey,

after trying out the Consumer Preview of windows 8 with my live-account, which I also use for my windows phone, my facebook chat doesn't work anymore.

Starting on windows 8 no contact appeared to be online and then I realized I had the same problem on my windows phone and live messenger: all my facebook contacts are now offline and I can't chat anymore.

I've tried seperating and reconnecting the live-facebook-connection several times but nothing has worked for me, so far.

Googling I have found out that there are people with similar problems but no fix works.

Does anyone have an idea what to do now? I really liked the chat intergration and now its useless since you can't write to offline contacts.

make sure you update the consumer preview with windows updates also look at the App store on the start screen after ya do windows updates you might see updates for the Apps installed and after that thgings should work

updates have all been installed and I've now read that several people experience those problems since the day before yesterday. So I guess it's indeed a problem of facebook.

I'm having the same problem since about 4 days, and i tried everything and I cannot make it work back, All my facebook contacts appear offline on Messenger / Windows Phone.

Any news?
