Tegra 4 spec sheet allegedly leaks

shows no integrated LTE until Q3 2013

Nvidia has big plans for its Tegra 3 family of SoCs this summer, but VR-Zone Chinese claims to have a leaked specification sheet detailing the company's next generation of Tegra chips, codenamed "Wayne." Later iterations are to be named "Logan" and "Stark", following the superhero naming convention set by Tegra 3 Kal-El. According to the document, there will be at least four different Tegra 4 models coming in 2013, all using the same architecture as the Tegra 3: quad-core chips with a fifth "companion" core for low-power computing.

The flagship 1.8GHz T40 is said to arrive in the first quarter of next year, followed by another flagship model, the 2GHz T43, in the third quarter. The AP40, listed as a mainstream model, is also set to appear in Q3, and will feature clock speeds ranging from 1.2GHz to 1.8GHz. All three, targeted for 10-inch tablets, are listed as being based upon ARM's Cortex-A15 processor. A fourth model, the SP3X, will be aimed at 7-inch devices, with clock speeds ranging from 1.2GHz to 2GHz.

The SP3X is also notable in that it's listed as featuring built-in LTE and 42Mbps HSPA+ support. The lack of an integrated LTE modem has been an impediment to Tegra 3, and while its inclusion here is certainly a sign Nvidia is moving in the right direction, the listed release date ? Q3 of 2013 ? is no doubt much further away than the company's partners woud like. Of course, we'll have to wait for official confirmation from Nvidia to know for sure; perhaps we'll get it in June at this year's Computex.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
    • After I installed those, my older but capable Win 11 laptop (16GB RAM) reported it as 26H2 26300.8697. Then I installed it on my big laptop (128GB RAM! Hehe sorry), it reported it as 25H2 26220.8690. Ugh. Do I have to switch Insiders channels from Release to Beta?
