Slow loading on forum

I can barely stand to be here atm, its taking close to 30 seconds before the page even loads, and it never completes, even after a Ctrl + F5 and all the trimmings, it took me minutes to get here instead of the few seconds it normally takes

at this point, even accessing things is hit and miss, been getting a tonne of database driver errors.

I've been getting the database driver errors in the 'spam' thread for weeks. When I post something, it times out to a database driver error but the post still posts.

Just got the old Data Base Error, for about 10 minutes. :s

It's been pretty slow for months. Click page 2 and wait for about 10 seconds. Click the post button and wait for 10 seconds. Sure does seem to be a lot of waiting going on.

It has been much snappier for me during the last 24 hours. Right now the load times on the forum are 1 or 2 seconds just like most forums I frequent but that's probably because 75% of Neowin is zzZZ atm

Did some tweaking overnight while it was quiet(er), things should be better now :)

It seems yesterdays slow loading times have come and gone - works fine here.
