Ad overlays on images are annoying

Skins are really annoying as it means you can't click on the side of the content to activate the browser windows to scroll and such without clicking the ad.

Nah, thats a new advertiser for the NeoGamr website, we're just what many other gaming sites do by adding skins.. they should only appear at most 2 or 3 times a day.

I use expanded width and the site looks pretty bad when the new ads load. The worst part is the settings button to turn expanded width off is trapped under the ad.

Do those ads come up by some geographic location? I've never seen any of those overlays nor the ones in the last picture? I've seen the gamer skin but that doesn't bother me much and actually understand that neowin needs to make some money to keep the site going.
