Use this thread to submit your designs from this Neowin contest.

Remember, we're requiring that you use our own attachment system so that entries don't get deleted off external hosts in the future. This thread will be used as a permanent reference.

If your design exceeds the file upload limit, submit a low resolution version, and if you are selected we'll contact you for a higher resolution version to use in the store.

For best print quality, all submitted designs should meet the following requirements:

  • PNG format with transparent background
  • Colors must be RGB
  • At least 200 DPI (300 DPI recommended)
  • Minimum 1000px x 1000px resolution (2200px x 3000px recommended)
  • Less than 5MB

FAQ:

  • What font is Neowin: comfortaa (also found on Google fonts) although this is not required.

Basic Template

The design must be present on the 1000x1000 (or 2200px x 3000px) template that is used on the front of the shirt. So no sleeves can't be used in the design.

Member consideration

The amount of "Likes" on entries by members will also be taken into consideration, but will not determine the outcome, the end vote remains with staff.

Thank you, the problem is that that Attach file form doesn't appear at all, I tried with Firefox, Chrome and IE, cleaned the cache and everything, same...

Is there any minimum amount of posts before uploading attachments?

If you haven't whitelisted Neowin it may be blocking the controls for it, that's all I can think of.. there is no minimum post requirement.

No, there isn't. It should be there. Does anyone else have this issue?

It seems Glass Silver have it too. What can I do in case I'm not 'whitelisted' ?!

It won't work if you have applied something like NoScript or maybe an adblocker to Neowin. The attachment field uses Flash.

Neobond means if you have Adblock installed and have not disabled ad blocking on Neowin, then it might be blocking the Attach Files form. I don't think this is the case though, as I just temporarily enabled ad blocking on Neowin and the form isn't blocked.

I don't have any AdBlocks at all, I never used such plugins, also I've tried on Opera right now (fresh install), and same issue.

Edit: I've tried on Incognito (Chrome) which doesn't allow any plugins to run unless I specified to, same issue.

Well the default uploader is using Flash, and there isn't an option in My Settings to change it to the old way, so it must be something to do with the flash plug-in for the people that don't see it.

You can upload to an external host then, just let me know so I can add it again in this topic.

Edit: going to have a search to see if this is an IPB Forums common issue.

      No idea, frankly, I'm not into minimum requirements gaming, but it would be an interesting test to find out. Also, I just have to point out that it wasn't my intention to downplay the performance of DXVK on Linux or Linux gaming in general (despite my own experience being a bit of a mixed bag). I just thought it would be good to point out that DXVK is not Linux exclusive and that you can benefit from using it even in Windows.

      Fastfetch 2.64 released bringing new logos and other improvements by David Uzondu Fastfetch, the popular command-line system information tool that developers created as a fast alternative to the classic Neofetch utility, has updated its codebase to version 2.64, bringing experimental scripting power, streamlined compilation options, a smarter logo renderer, and Codec module support. As noted earlier, Fastfetch can now detect hardware-accelerated video codecs across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android through this new Codec module. On Linux and BSD, the utility uses VA-API by default, with a fallback to VDPAU on Nvidia hardware if compiled with libva and libvdpau.       For sure, humanity us highly unlikely to survive the helium flash. Even if we have colonized moons in the outer planets by then, that is such a monumental change in heat output, coupled with the destruction of Earth, it's unlikely we could be fully prepared for changes of that scale.
