Four kids steal old woman's money

An 83 year-old Romanian woman from Botosani (North East) was robbed by four kids, aged between 11 and 14, Adevarul newspaper informs today (Mon).

The woman was saving the money for her funeral in plastic bottles in her house and used to count them from time to time, according to the Police. When she wanted to count the money again on Sunday she discovered the money gone.

The police found out that the 300 Euro the woman was keeping in her house were stolen by a group of four youngsters.

The investigators say the kids broke in several times in the past two months in the woman's house and steal small amounts of money so that the old lady wouldn't notice them missing.

The children spent more than half of the money and only some 150 Euro have been recovered.

Yes, but many people seem not to trust banks, and it seems that more of the older people are doing things like storing money in coffee cans, buried in the backyard, or something else just of the wall like that.
