Hiho

This is my first post here, I completed a theme a while ago, and I thought id post it here.

First, the theme comes in two different shades, light and dark:

wurp_theme_light.jpg

wurp_theme_dark.jpg

Also, on the request of a user I made a special version with thin taskbar, this also comes in the shades light and dark:

wurp_theme_thin_taskbar.jpg

here you can download the theme with the normal taskbar: theme normal taskbar

and here is the theme with the thin taskbar: theme thin taskbar

hope you like it, and let me know if there are any problems with the theme :)

cheers

I forgot to mention, to install, just add the ZIP file from within styleXP as usual :)

Looks very nice , though the Start Button needs to stand out a bit more IMO :) ....

Welcome to Neowin!, enjoy your stay here (Y) ....

I really like the start button. Simple but very professional looking. Good job. The theme is a little too simple for my tastes but I think it is good looking nonetheless.

i second that! the thin taskbar looks amazing. how about just a logo there with no "start" words? you could get a slightly bigger win logo or one of the cream milky white logos to complement that

A bug - in Internet Explorer, in the following dialog box (Favourites | Organise Favourites), the text disappears beneath the mouse cursor.

Wow, I really like this visual style. Very professional and clean looking. The only thing I can think of is adding a compact start menu. Then it would be perfect :)

easy fix:

just import theme into stylebuilder and change values/general/sysmetrics/window to white 255,255,255...then apply

btw...very nice simple themes

I like the style a lot, however, I'm not a fan of white themes. Some kind of ergo color would be excellent!

There is a "dark" theme you can select too.
