I believe the title of this article is incorrect. It's not reluctance, its knowing when to say the emperor has no clothes. That's called critical thinking. The "New" Outlook is still just a terrible web-wrapped interface, not much different the OWA. These new features mentioned here seem more like afterthoughts (Oh look, bettar theemes mom!). No thanks. I prefer Classic Outlook. It works, and it's not a pig on my system opening up 100 msedgewebview2.exe processes (I already have enough of these with Teams...).
I made the switch last year and overall I prefer the new Outlook. I'm sure some people miss some of the removed features/options, but to me it feels de-cluttered. And I think the calendar uses space better - I much prefer the new tiny space used by all-day events.
I do miss unlimited arrow key navigation and the 8-day view, though.
I'm content with my dual charger for now, but this actually sounds quite nice - and it's less expensive than I was expecting.
As for the company, they can name themselves "Nazirapist" for all I care.
