I'm sorry, but, what do you mean by "registered"? Is it a very special type of ram designed for a specific mobo?

Edit: Heh. I looked it up. What type of mobo and processor would I need? Is it worth using it? Just Junk?

lol as soon i saw that RAM i thought it must be an ECC DIMM RAM or an old RAMBUS; then i felt old that most of you guys never saw that.

to the OP: i sold a couple of years ago 32MB SIMM for alot of cash because old memory is scarce and there's still systems that used that, you might get lucky by putting that on ebay.

Yeah. I'm thinking about that. How much should I sell them for? 20 bucks a piece? How do I know how many MB they are? Do I sell them in sets of 2 or single? Is there a way to even test that they work (without building a computer)? They are in really good shape, just dusty.

well, you could buy this http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1174 but that's overkill :); that's the problem with old hardware; if you don't have the hardware to test that (like an old pc) it's gonna be hard to test that (and to sell if you don't know if it works). having saying that check the prices at ebay or your local autions like that to get an ideia how valueble those mems are today.

EDO (Extended Data Out) is very old-school RAM. (We're talking original 66MHz Pentium here). The one that you have is most likely from an old server. Not much use for it nowadays. Most machines in the last 10 years or so will be using some form of DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM. The only people you really would be able to sell it to would be either someone looking to fix up an old school machine for nestalgia reasons, or someone who just likes to collect old PC hardware. I think I still have a few sticks of EDO somewhere from an old Pentim machine. (As well as some really old 30-pin DIMMS that I used on my old Gravis Ultrasound sound card...) I may have tossed it out however in my last basement purge/cleanup session... You could always try tossing it up on EBay, but I wouldn't expect much. My guess is that they are probaly in the 4MB to 8MB size. Maybe 16MB, but that might be pushing it...

It's worth a shot, at least. The worst that could happen is it won't sell and it'll collect dust in my closet. I've never used eBay before so I'll do some research on that. I know you need a PayPal account, but other than that, IDK. I know Xyphus in real life, so I'm sure he could help me. :happy:

there's still business that have old servers with ultra old legacy software that doesn't have any modern port; i know because i have one client with just that.

I have some similar sticks in my old DX-66, it's lovely and boots Win 3.1 in minutes.

i've had a Pentium MMX 200Hz with 256MB of RAM booting Windows 2000 in a couple of minutes (enough time to drink a coffe); when i installed XP on that same puter i could eat dinner while it was booting and sometimes it wasn't enough :woot:

i've even made some photoshops designs in that same puter :rofl:

Last week, we reported that Tata Electronics, an Apple supplier and iPhone producer in India, was hit by a data breach. As a result, it was reported that more than 200,000 trade secrets and confidential documents belonging to Apple and Tesla were stolen by the ransomware group World Leaks. According to Reuters, the group has now leaked supplier lists, component details, and photos of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro models on the dark web. One of the materials leaked by the hackers is a drop-test video of the iPhone 18 Pro, which is due to launch this September. The phone is shown in a gray color and has the same familiar design we saw on last year's iPhone 17 Pro series. The device also appears to be quite durable, though it seems to be thicker than last year's model. One possible explanation is that Apple may be using a larger battery in the iPhone 18 Pro series. Moreover, Reuters says it has seen at least six documents mapping many components in the iPhone 18 Pro models to their respective suppliers, including details on chips on the main circuit board and on battery and camera components. The documents reportedly detail hundreds of parts that will be used in the iPhone 18 Pro models. A person familiar with the matter told the outlet that Apple classifies this data as sensitive and “is concerned about the documents being shared on the dark web as they relate to unreleased models.” Apple is reportedly investigating the issue but has yet to issue an official statement.

      You do you, I've just said that it first appeared in "home" version before it will be available in "work" one. I use Edge only because it still supports MV2 uBO extension even on Android - I'll switch when they stop.

      I imagine that was a review or something? My reviews mostly contain a lot of images and galleries, but these are all webp too, but yeah it all adds up on the page load. Would help if you were more helpful with your critique instead of bitching and moaning like a Karen 😂 Because then we might be able to fix it for you.

      If Valve refused to let them make the case, I wonder if they've already partnered with someone else to do it? The fact that they didn't seek permission/licence before diving straight in is incredible though
