Haggis Veteran Posted November 4, 2012 Veteran Share Posted November 4, 2012 JellyBean on the Galaxy S3 LTE works perfect aswell as it comes standard on the S3 LTE
UKDarkJedi
Works perfectly for me and has done for ages. Probably crappy apps running in the background that aren't fully compatible with Jellybean. HoochieMamma 1 Share
LittleNeutrino Veteran Posted November 19, 2012 Veteran Share Posted November 19, 2012 not sure about the official rom as i think that TouchWiz is a bit too bloaty for me however, I have been running JellyBean on my VZW GS3 for a few months now and it has never been slow in fact I find that the phone is quicker. I am running CM10 with Android 4.1.2 at the moment. The phone is very smooth and cannot complain about anything on it at the moment. If at all possible when things are running slow after an update like that it might be worth it to run a system restore (bring it back to factory) might have just been a few services not functioning right after the upgrade. SMELTN
so I just got my S3 this weekend, and REALLY want to give Cyanogen Mod a try, but my questions are.. If I get Cyanogen Mod 10 for the S3, is there anyway to get the Samsung keyboard with swype? I LOVE the keyboard layout on the samsung keyboard and I want the extra swype type feature it has. Also what about the weather widget. I have to have a weather widget on my homescreen and I don't know of a good one honestly.

Nightwind Hawk
I don't know what your friend is running... JB is working great (and faster/smoother) here as well as for thousands of users at XDA.... pretty much every custom ROM is JB now because it's so popular??
