can u send us a detailed spec list

and also

could i ask something of u?!

could u type the following at command promt, and display the results?!

:\>arp -a

:\>route PRINT

:\>ipconfig /displaydns

:\>netstat -a

these will give me a simple idea as to how your phyical pc connects to the logical "wan" network outside ur home..

thats the problem u see for us folk ... the ip stack that controls LAN and WAN connections are not the same.. and the WAN connections have a problem..

your help would be most appricieated.

there seems to be another issue at hand as well, i started up my dns server on my other pc it works like a charm, however inlonghorn i can ping the ip, but when i try to resolve any hosts with nslookup it sais timed-out.

Now, some Neowin?s guru can help us with this script:

<route delete 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 if 2 metric 1b> (where "192.168.0.1" is the gateway)

This can fix the problem ?

It doesnt work here anyway, but meabe I?m doin something wrong.
